I haven't been posting much content on Hive recently but I am still quite engaged on the Hive blockchain - I love reading great posts every day and play a lot of P2E games running on the Hive blockchain. Btw what do you guys think about the new daily reward system in Splinterlands? I still need to get used to it, not a big fan of it so far although I like the idea behind it.
Anyways, it's Hive Power Up Day again and I thought it would be nice to participate again. One game I actually stopped playing is dCrops - not because it wasn't fun or anything but I spend way to much time online, so I needed to stop playing one of my P2E games. Although dCrops doesn't take much time I still decided to start with this one because it's not that thrilling like other games (like Splinterlands) and I had to start somewhere. Selling my assets in-game brought me ~ 112 HIVE which isn't profit btw because I also invested a lot back in the days. So I decided to power up 100 HIVE and keep ~ 10 of the HIVE liquid for now.
What is the idea behind the Hive Power Up Day? The HPUD is a day where the community comes together and power up as a collective. Everyone is invited to join us and power up as well. Of course you can power up whenever you want but I think it's nice to do it together. It's a big sign that we believe in this blockchain and that HIVE will have a bright future. Another great thing about it is that the liquid amount of HIVE will be reduced which can support the HIVE price. And you can also get a badge from @hivebuzz & win some awesome prizes too. Like I already mentioned above I was able to power up 100 HIVE today. This brings me closer to my goal of having 3,000 HP - now I "only" need ~ 100 HIVE to reach this milestone 🤩 This is all really exiting and I just hope that I will be able to power up 100 HIVE next month as well.
Normally I also stake some other Hive-based tokens from Hive-Engine. I haven't done this today because I only had small amounts worth $0.40 or less and I will keep collecting those coins for a bit and stake them in one transaction once I have more if them.
Why should you join the Hive Power Up Day?
Because it shows that you love Hive. Because this community gave you so much and it is time to give back (if you really want to give back you can help someone with his/her power up and get a Power-Up Helper badge from @hivebuzz too). Because it is a strong sign that Hive stands for more than just making a fast profit.
