The sky is falling! That's what everyone would have you believe when it comes to Hive. Yes, the price has dropped down to a little over $0.18. It may even drop further.
Everywhere you look in the crypto market, prices are down. The thing to remember in times like these is that while prices have dropped, the fundamentals haven't changed. People are still drawn to Hive because of the opportunity to earn for writing, gaming, investing in other Hive-Engine tokens, etc.
Don't Freak Out
If you're freaking out over the price drop, then take a deep breath.

Look around. People are still creating. The projects are still here and building. Now look again. Everything is on sale!
Delayed Gratification
Hive is a small market cap compared to other alt coins. It's going to take longer for others to find us. The market bull run everyone is hoping for may not happen this year. It may not happen next year. Does that matter? In the grand scheme of things, no, it doesn't. So long as people are still on Hive creating, building, networking and onboarding, then it is alive and well. The price will eventually go back up.
Fire Sale!
While the price of Hive is down, don't miss out on opportunities to buy. Those same Hive-Engine tokens that may only be paying out 1 Hive per week may not seem like much now, but when the price of Hive goes back up and hits $1 or more, you'll be kicking yourself for not buying more back when it was cheap.

I'm no financial expert, but there are some tokens I'm personally invested in because they show great promise. In my opinion, they're also priced at a good value.

Simply holding these tokens pays you weekly Hive dividends. It's that simple!
DRIP
They recently introduced their new liquidity, which I plan to join as soon as some of my tokens unstake. DRIP itself pays daily Swap.Hive and more DRIP tokens. If you stake everything you get, it compounds nicely!

Holding it liquid pays daily Hive. Again, it's simple and it's cheap right now.
DUO
I had to include this one because I, @bitcoinman and @thebighigg created this token. Depending on the amount you stake, it pays Hive dividends, you can have one post per day curated by @duo-curator, and you can tip others with it!
The curation part is on and active. The developer is finalizing the coding for Hive dividends and tipping. We've already raised over 2300 Hive, which has all been powered up and will stay on Hive to curate DUO stakers and help onboard others onto Hive!
