Madness of the Heart

Imagine not being nice and kind to your family but choosing to be generous to strangers and outsiders, your parents can not call you to demand urgent funds, and you are always broke to help them but when they host an event in your community and ask you to donate, you give out big amounts, you go to church and also donate there.

Strangers enjoy family privilege while families are treated as strangers. You forget there was a time when you were helpless and family was your strength. They fed you, protected you, and clothed you until you were strong enough to be on your own.

Those people deserved your love, not the strangers that you barely knew, unfortunately, we have people like this in the world, they cherish outsiders more than their blood... Madness of the heart.

Some children will grow up to become rich and tag their mothers as witches and refuse to accommodate them in their house, the same woman who gave birth to you and didn't kill you when you were a helpless child, is the same person you tagged witch in her old age, you forgot she used to be a beautiful woman in her prime and you will one day become old too.

Treat your parent the same you would want your children to treat you, treat them with love, and do not let them regret bringing you into this world, on the day you were born, they were full of smiles, do not let that smile turn to sadness now... you owed them everything.

I come from a family of 8, 5 siblings and I am the last born, we treat each other with kindness and are always there for one another... My babe told me one day that we love ourselves in our family and I was like isn't this a norm? should siblings hate each other? but I know she is right, we have some families that dislike one another and are not ready to help each other in time of need.

I am glad to have been born into this family because I know if anything goes wrong, they are ready to support me with the little they have, I can always count on them in times of need, and even though we do have disagreements sometimes but it never lasts long and never to the extent of wishing each other bad, we settle it without apologizing, that is the definition of family, letting go of grudges easily.

I love your post. Family is the first foundation of our existence, and it’s disheartening when people prioritize outsiders over their own blood. I love how you described your family bond; it's something many can learn from especially those who priotize outsiders than close ones. Yeah, disagreements happen, but letting go of grudges easily is the true definition of family.

yea, family is everything and they deserve our love

Many types of people are exactly the same as your story today, when we treat our parents like strangers, I think it's something that is very unnecessary to do, especially foreigners we consider as brothers, I think this is a crazy world if the principle of such a person, usually if there is a person who is like usual, his children will one day return to the nature of their father.

As the saying goes, the fruit that falls is never far from the tree

people forget they will also age, they will blame their children in future not knowing it is karma haunting them

I also feel it's ridiculous when I see people don't have funds to feed their family members but have money to show off as well as generosity. It's unfair. Moreover, I think leaving parents in their old age is a cruel thing.
I think siblings don't become rivals if parents can manage their child properly.

you are right man, it all depends on how the parent bring up the children, that is what will determine what they will turn out to be
