I have a new strategy and it is instead of powering up any Hive I get I will be converting the Hive to HBD and putting it in my savings. I wont be powering down any of my Hive powered up to at least have resource credits, butt the amount I do have powered up is not worth anything when I curate posts. The 20% apr on HBD in your savings is a nice return and since I don't have enough time to post and curate posts this strategy works best for me at the moment. I currently have 50 HBD in my savings and I want to slowly add more to it.
I started Steem Monsters now Splinterlands pretty early on. I had only bought the beginners pack back then and slowly earned more cards as I completed daily challenges and season ending rewards. I also bought a lot of cards that were under 5 cents back then. I had ended up with a pretty nice collection plus the plot of land that I purchased once the plots were first being sold. Since I had stopped playing like I used to play I decided on selling my collection.
Just my plot of land that I purchased for around $15 I can't recall the exact amount I was able to sell for $135. The rest of the cards that I had bought back then I was able to sell for way more than I payed for back then. I was able to get about $500 give or take from all my Splinterlands collection. I only had put in no more than $50 for my Splinterlands collection late in 2017 and into 2018. Ended up being a good investment. The same could happen now with the cards being released today.
Splinterlands is a fun game to play and also a great investment. I just didn't have time to play anymore so I decided to sell my collection and to put that money into a crypto project that I am currently accumulating. Thanks to Splinterlands I was able to get a decent amount of the altcoins I am invested in for the long haul. LINK DOT and UNI which I am still accumulating slowly as I believe in those projects.
If you liked my previous finance content let me know and I will continue to make posts. I was not getting any upvotes at all on my last few posts so I figured no one was interested.
