Good afternoon Splinterlandians!
As many of you may know by now - I was quite Salty after the Grum/Iza/Lira Airdrop because I had only received 1 GF out of the lot...
Mathematically, I was fucking salty and this is for good reason -because the RNG system is just F'ing me in the A.
On my personal account, I have purchased 3,306 packs...
After the Grum/Iza/Lira drop, I had received 53(56*) Airdropped Rewards... of which... Baakjira was my only GFL...
(56*) - I received 3 Dr Blight but this is at a 2% GFL rate so I typically use the number excluding Blight for the % calc of how hard the RNG system is railing me 😡
1/53 = 1.89% or less than half of what we've been led to believe... although I suspect the "4% rate" is total BS at this point.
Then came the Spirit Hoarder - I was so hopeful to break my shit streak... With 3,306 packs... I was guaranteed 6... So I was really hoping to see a GFL Hoarder!
I received two extra regular Spirit Hoarders... So that was a nice lil bonus... but with my 8 Spirit Hoarders that brought my tally to 1/61 or 1.64%
At this point, I will admit, I am no longer that Salty - I'm just fucking amused and morbidly curious as to how deep the shitstick will get shoved before I get a GFL Drop...
Which brings us to TODAY... The long awaited Carnage Titan! I remained ever hopeful and knew with 1 guaranteed for every 525 packs I should get 6 and bring my total to at least 67 Airdropped cards...
I woke up bright and early at 5am, nudged my girlfriend - who begrudgingly woke up to click the Aidrop Button for me (I don't know how she puts up with me) and now we find out - Salty or Sweet :P
What do you think? Did my bad luck streak end? Did I get a Sweet GOLD FOIL CARNAGE TITAN??
NO!! OF COURSE I FUCKING DIDN'T BECAUSE THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE!!! SO THE ANSWER TO THE FUCKING QUESTION IS - I'M STILL SALTY!!!!!
So yeah, here we are: 67(70*) Airdrops... 1 Foil... 1.49% drop rate... 4% my ass...
(70* including Blight for 1.43% total 😑)
At this point, I just keep telling myself: "Don't worry Cap, you're gonna get a BUNCH OF THE GOLD FOIL SUMMONERS DROPPED TO YOU"
So... @cryptomancer - whatever Web Wizardry or Virtual Voodoo or Hexadecimal Hexxing or Splinterlands Sorcery or Internet Incantations or Maverick Magic you need to perform to help a brother out when you press that Airdrop button next time... I need you to do it 👺
I've stated since the beginning of the Salty Saga - I don't want 50% or even 5% Gold Foil Legendaries - If the drop rate is stated at 4%, I just want 4% 🤷♂
Pushing 70 cards... while statistically possible... getting just one single GFL seems like a kick "Square in the nuts!!"
Obviously the Splintergods are just saving up my RNG to give me the Gold Foil Summoners - obviously...
We have 6 more Airdrop cards to go... They're the highly anticipated, eagerly awaited, Yodin killing, Valnamor beating, Renynn stomping CHAOS LEGION LEGENDARY SUMMONERS!!!!!
I hope you guys n gals out there enjoy reading about my luck (or lack thereof) when it comes to RNG - I've only ever opened one GFL to top it off, a River Hellondale, but that's about on par with the packs I've opened.
I figured if I invested a sizeable chunk into the game, I could get a couple of GFL Airdrop rewards to boost my collection and be good... but alas... this has not been the case lmao...
Here's to the next 6 Airdrops - may the RNG Lords please have mercy on my soul...
I hope you got a chuckle out of the latest update and at this point, if my luck continues to be terrible... I'm going to need to put up a Hive GoFundMe or something just to get to the 4% 🤣

P.S. - My guildie and friend did receive a GF Carnage Titan. We split a couple of bulk purchases so he has about 6,300 packs purchased under his account... He was +1 on the GF's beforehand (+2 actually he has an alt with ~300 packs and got a GF Grum -_-)... So it was my turn for the GF and I did technically get one... but that means he's pulled FOUR GFL Aidrops vs my ONE...
So that's 4 @ 6,600 packs vs 1 @ 3,306... #SaltySaga :P
