A few days ago I was shopping with my eldest daughter because we were looking for gifts for my youngest daughter's birthday, but when I saw the El Castillo store I couldn't resist going in. For those who don't know, this is a very important textile store in my city, Valencia, I don't know if there will be more branches in my entire country, Venezuela, but I love this store because there are many things, not only fabrics, but everything related to sewing: sewing machines, threads, needles, accessories, anyway, I really love it.
Hace unos días yo estaba de compras con mi hija mayor porque estábamos buscando regalos para el cumpleaños de mi hija menor, pero cuando vi la tienda El Castillo no pude resistirme a entrar. Para los que no lo sepan esta es una tienda textil muy importante en mi ciudad, Valencia, no sé si habrá más sucursales en todo mi país, Venezuela, pero amo esta tienda porque hay muchas cosas, no solo telas, sino todo lo referente a costura: máquinas de coser, hilos, agujas, accesorios, en fin, de verdad me encanta.
When we arrived the store was closed, so my daughter and I dedicated ourselves to making other purchases (gifts) and later we returned to see what we could find, I wanted to buy fabric to make a tablecloth and some curtains for my kitchen counters. , but at first I got distracted looking at the offers the store has, beautiful sets of sheets starting from only $7. Seriously, everywhere you look you will find beautiful and tempting things, it's hard to contain yourself 😁.
Cuando llegamos la tienda estaba cerrada, así que mi hija y yo nos dedicamos a hacer otras compras (los regalos) y posteriormente regresamos para ver lo que podíamos encontrar, yo quería comprar tela para hacer un mantel y unas cortinas para las encimeras de mi cocina, pero al inicio me distraje viendo las ofertas que tiene la tienda, juegos de sábanas hermosos desde solo 7$. En serio, a donde quiera que mires encontrarás cosas hermosas y tentadoras, es difícil contenerse 😁.

Hay muchísima variedad en colores y texturas, tantas que era difícil para mi elegir una pieza. Pero también tienen una zona de retazos con trozos de telas de menos de 50 centímetros.
And when it comes to pay the purchase, there is a special area to pick up what you just bought, although in that area there are also many beautiful things to choose from. I bought a beautiful fabric, several meters because it was at a very good price and because as I already told you, I plan to make several things: a tablecloth, curtains for the countertops and if there is a little left over I will also sew curtains for the dish rack.
Y a la hora de cancelar la compra hay una zona especial para retirar lo que acabas de comprar,, aunque en esa zona también hay muchas cosas hermosas para elegir. Yo compré una tela hermosa, varios metros porque estaba a muy buen precio y porque como ya les dije, planeo hacer varias cosas: un mantel, cortinas para las encimeras y si sobra un poco también coseré cortinas para la platera.

Esta es la tela que elegí, a mi me gustó bastante, quedé muy satisfecha con mi compra, pronto, Dios mediante les mostraré el resultado final de todo lo que coseré con ella, y como mejorará el aspecto de mi cocina.
