Splinterlands Art Contest Week 309!

Here I come back in my second week to participate in the Splinterlands Art Contest Week 309! Besides participating I want to thank you for the support received in my first post dedicated to the mini unicorn, I never thought I could see myself selected among so many wonderful Splinterlands Fanart artists, thank you very much.

It is incredible how this kind of things encourage us to continue working and evolving in our work, it is thanks to this support that I was encouraged to weave in the amigurumi technique to the beloved Queen of crows and I say beloved because doing some research in the other publications of the initiative I have seen that it is the card that most artists choose to design.

Es increíble como ese tipo de cosas nos incentivan a seguir trabajando y evolucionando en nuestro trabajo, es gracias a ese apoyo que me animé a tejer en la técnica de amigurumi a la querida Reina de los cuervos y digo querida porque investigando un poco en las demás publicaciones de a iniciativa he visto que es la carta que más escogen los artistas para diseñar.

Yo no me quise quedar atrás, asique tomé mis agujas y mis hilos y empecé a trabajar.

The Queen of crows is linked to death, destiny, cold and darkness. Crows although dark birds, are also symbolic of intelligence, knowledge and wisdom.

La Reina de los cuervos está ligada a la muerte, el destino, el frio y la oscuridad. Los cuervos aunque son aves oscuras, también son símbolo de inteligencia, conocimiento y sabiduría.

Materials:

To make this project I did not have to go to the market because luckily I had enough scraps of yarn of all colors, but the most predominant of course is black, purple and skin color.

For knitting we need a needle number 2 and 3 millimeters. We will also need a scissors, a wool needle and a lot of desire to knit.

Para realizar este proyecto no he tenido que asistir al mercado ya que por suerte tenia bastantes retazos de hilos de todos colores, pero el que más predomina por supuesto es el negro, morado y color piel.

Pata tejer necesitamos una aguja número 2 y 3 milímetros. También necesitaremos una tijera, aguja lanera y muchas ganas de tejer.

To start working I used a tutorial I found on YouTube and from there I took some basic details for the elaboration. The rest I left to the imagination taking as a reference the details of our game card.

Para comenzar a trabajar utilicé un tutorial que encontré en YouTube y de allí tomé algunos detalles básicos para la elaboración. Lo demás lo deje a la imaginación tomando como referencia los detales de nuestra carta del juego.

I think that of all these details what I liked the most was the skull, I never thought it would turn out so well.

Doing this kind of work is not so easy, it is almost 18 hours of work to achieve a piece of this type.

I really liked the color combination of the queen and that is something we should thank the artist who designed it.

Creo que de todos esos detalles lo que más me gustó fue la calavera, jamás pensé que me saldría tan bien.

Hacer este tipo de trabajos no es tan fácil, son casi 18 horas de trabajo para lograr una pieza de este tipo.

Me gustó mucho la combinación de colores de la reina y eso es algo que debemos agradecer al artista que la diseñò.

The first thing I did were the arms and then the legs, all those parts of the body must have a soft filling. Then we joined the legs and went up towards the back, joined with the arms and formed the neck and then filled it in.

Lo primero que hice fueron los brazos y luego las piernas, todas esas partes del cuerpo deben tener un relleno suave. Luego unimos las piernas y vamos subiendo hacia el dorso, unimos con los brazos y formamos el cuello para luego rellenar.

The head was the easiest part because it is the biggest piece of the body and the most difficult was the shoes, I got very tangled, hehehehehe.

While I was knitting I was thinking about what to do with that Queen and it occurred to me to give it to a friend who has always loved the punk movement. I'm sure she's going to love it.

La cabeza fue la parte más fácil porque es la pieza más grande del cuerpo y la más difícil fue los zapatos, me enrede mucho, jejeje.

Mientras tejía iba pensando en qué hacer con esa Reina y se me ocurrió regalársela a una amiga que toda la vida le ha encantado el movimiento punk. Estoy segura que le va a encantar.
