This photograph brought me many memories, this was a family sharing about 4 years ago, this day was January 1st. Every year we made a sancocho at my brother-in-law's house and my mother-in-law, as always, was the center of attraction at that time, very happy taking her beer.
We, my son, husband and I, stayed sleeping at my mother-in-law's house because we welcomed the new year with her, while we were sharing with the family we were already planning what we were going to do for January 1st, everyone had to contribute something to eat and to drink and equally to give to children.
What makes me nostalgic the most is that my mother-in-law was a happy woman, she played a lot of dominoes and I was always her party partner and when we were all together she was very happy to see us all together she always had to say something for the whole family one of her words What always stayed in my memory was to see us together and help each other and this tradition will not go out and that day we toast to that unity.
But today this has not been fulfilled as she wished, everyone took their path where that family meeting was held, they emigrated from the country, others are enemies and the mother's house is no longer the same because she is needed to cheer us up.
