Hello Everyone!
If you have ever run into me on Discord or read some of my posts for Cine TV, you probably know that I am married and have 2 sons. Well, my oldest son is now in high school and it occured to me that I have yet to share with him a lot of the classic movies that I thought he used to be a little young for.
In order to rectify that, we started watching movies after his younger brother went to bed. In a way, I wanted to get him caught up on the movies that he should see before he moves out. A sort of crash course in awesome movies that he shouldn't miss, or I will feel like I let him down.
Whether you realize it or not, guys especially connect through a few main topics. Sometimes it's the fairer sex, maybe sports, or politics, but I can't tell you how many times I have made friends with movie quotes. Connecting through a shared experience that either made us laugh, think or even cry does something. A lot of things in our culture have the same effect, for my children it is memes and Youtube shorts. For my generation, it was spouting random movie quotes and waxing poetically about the plot or character in a movie. I want to give my son another language to speak to those around him, a cultural idea from cinema that broadens his scope.
With that being said, I have decided to create a new series of posts called:

In these posts I am planning on sharing what we are watching, why I felt it was important for my son to see and what he thought of it. We have been doing this for a while now so I have plenty of movies to choose from. I will be asking him to join in and help and I will make sure to let you know when they are his thoughts and ideas.
You can help too! Make sure to follow along with our adventure through cinema and to give me suggestions on what movies he should watch. I can't wait to share what we have been watching and to hear what you all think.
Thanks for reading and have an awesome rest of your day!
