It is the weekend already guys!
Usually, when Friday comes I have this excitement written all over me that I am free for the moment. I often plan how the rest of my weekend would be, that is how I mostly do my things. There is a female friend of mine who is also in the same pattern as me, during weekends it is either we take a stroll far from home or we hang out chilling.
I am an introvert and I often find it difficult to socialize with people although I do not entertain this personality of mine I find it hard to adjust according to society. The least I can do is to hang out just with me or with a friend, I don’t entertain the crowd.
I do not understand what occurred last Saturday, all of a sudden I had the feeling to hang out, eat, drink, and chitchat. I called my friend and she said she was available.
I ordered an Uber to take me to her house so I could pick her up and then straight to my destination. The name of this beautiful lounge is “Pappies Maestro '' and it is located in Yaba, Lagos Nigeria.
On getting there, the atmosphere was vibrant and every corner was bustling with activities like boyfriend and girlfriend chit-chatting, drinking, playing games of snooker, dancing, playing table tennis, and so forth.
We chose a comfortable pair of cushions facing directly opposite the table and a waiter came forward to show us the menu and make choices.
The prices weren’t so expensive and there were lots of varieties of drinks, food, fries, cocktails, and so on, so I chose a beer the Double Black Smirnoff Ice Beer and my friend ordered the normal Smirnoff Ice Beer which was actually in the bottle while mine was in a can.
Meanwhile, during our chit-chat and girls' talks, I had already placed an order for a barbecue catfish with fries as sides. Sides like fried yam or fried potatoes preferably the actual fries but that wasn’t available at the moment so I went for fried yam.
When I was sipping the beer, I took my time to survey my environment because I wanted to be familiar with the surroundings.
After 45 mins of preparing the barbecue catfish, it was brought to us and I unveiled it to see the properties of the fish. At least it wasn't a what-i-ordered-versus-what-i-get scenario because I was pleased with what I saw.
We began consuming the fish and it was so delicious. As soon as we were done with the consumption of the barbecue catfish, we demanded another bottle of Smirnoff Ice beer to wash down the remnants of the sweet fish lol.
It was awesome being there because it made me feel refreshed and rejuvenated. Perhaps you can come to visit that place too!
