Coffee with milk since preschool

At home we always drink coffee with milk. For as long as I can remember the classic breakfast of bread with cheese and coffee with milk has been on our table.

I think that in the old days the food and child-rearing habits were less strict than nowadays... When my daughter was 4 years old, I was already drinking coffee with milk.

It was always accompanied by milk, because coffee alone was too strong for children.

Today I still have the same spirit as a child... but with the difference that now I drink black coffee without any additives and I love it.

Sort:

I've been drinking coffee ever since I can remember too. Coffee + creamer, with bread. Or I even put it on my rice as soup! Great match with fried fish. 🤤

Now, I also don't restrict my kids though they do not ask for coffee regularly. When they do, it's more like milk with coffee.

I think as we grow, the difference is always known. Taking coffee for a long time now, that's great to hear.

I started drinking young too but my family is a hardcore black coffee drinker with sugar. I tried it with milk, but I keep getting back to pure black.

A good way to start with coffee, coffee with milk and more if you are small 😊.

Same here, same latte & breakfast story 😄

I think both my son and I started drinking latte at 4 or a little before.

In our countries they have made us drink coffee from a very young age, in my house it was also customary to drink coffee with milk for the children and that's not missing the bread. A delight!🥐

I leave you a cup of coffee for morning.☕untitled.gif

It’s interesting how the age of people starting to drink coffee varies so widely across the countries and continents. I don’t think here in Europe it is okay for younger people (less than 15-16 years of age) to consume coffee. This is totally different in coffee producing countries like Venezuela and Brazil!

Here in Venezuela you see that a lot, parents giving coffee to children, but in my home it was different, coffee was for adults, children drank hot chocolate (Toddy), so I started drinking it after adulthood and now I don't miss it in my day to day life! I love it!☺️😋☕☕

Since preschool wow that's a very long time, I have never tried coffee with Milk maybe I will try it someday.

Yes, @chacald.dcymt, in cafe con leche I think it is more suitable for the little ones, in quantities not too excessive.

Venezuelan families have been characterized by this breakfast, coffee or coffee with milk, bread, butter and white cheese...a blessing.

A lot of preference when it comes to drinking coffee, right?

And to my side, I always love coffee with milk too. I am not used to black coffees for it's too strong for my tummy.
Greetings!

For me this experience is summed up four years ago ☕🤎 after considering that first cup of coffee, the experience with this drink has been wonderful, especially with that coffee with milk every morning ☕🥐🥖🍞, my girl still doesn't drink coffee or coffee with milk, she doesn't like the taste, however I think it's the best, it took me some generations to enjoy and continue the tradition of coffee in my home, now I enjoy my coffee moments ☕ ♨️ 🤎
