Its SPS is finally here! If you’re a fan of ranked battles and accumulating focus/loot chests, the new SPS reward would surely excites you.
Today, SPS has officially replaced DEC as the currency reward for ranked battles. Moreover, SPS can also be pulled from focus/loot chests. I think they have the same drop rate as that of DEC?
Why is this good news?
With the implementation of the SPS reward, players could now accumulate SPS without buying them. Not only that, since DEC are no longer being rewarded through ranked battles and focus/loot chests, it now become a lot more valuable.
How would this affect the economy?
Personally, I’m not sure if it would positively or negatively affect the game economy. So far, the only negative effect that I have seen is that the price of SPS has gone down, again. Not really surprising considering that there are now more SPS in circulation. That being said I do believe that the price would go up again once everything settles down.
Speaking of which, I’ve opened twelve (12) focus chests earlier and got a few shining SPS from five (5) chests. Total value of the SPS I’ve pulled was $0.118 (2.073 SPS).
Unfortunately, the potion brigade made an appearance, again.
Of all twelve (12) focus chests, six (6) of them contained potions: three (3) alchemy potion charges and seven (7) potion charges with a total value of $0.339. Bummer…
Cards? Yes, there’s a card: a Blood Maker (common) worth $0.010…
There are no Merits today which is a shame but that’s just how things are. So overall, the total value of today’s loots is $0.467. Too bad that most of them are from potions though. Oh well!
So that’s that. One exciting news and some lousy rewards. Not the best combination but it is what it is.
Anyway, that’s all I have for now. Thank you for reading.
Have a nice day!
