Fungifriday " very unique mushroom discovery

Assalamu'alaikum, hello how are you all my brothers and sisters, all members of this #fungfriday community. first I want to introduce myself first, my name is @cairoul I just joined hive this week. Greetings to all of you, I hope I can be well received here.

This is my first participation or contribution in the #fungfriday community and here are some pictures of mushrooms I got from today's hunting. here it is "my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw":

I really don't know the name and type of this mushroom, at first I thought it was the head of a snake. with a bright red color makes me afraid to approach it. then I use wood to touch it. and it turned out to be a mushroom that looks like a snake's head, the mushroom is hard textured and its stems can grow in layers the bigger it gets.

I don't know what the right name for this type of mushroom is, I don't know for sure, here I call it snake head mushroom. maybe friends here who know the name of this mushroom can leave a comment on this post...

yes thats right @ewkaw , but when I thought it was a snake I hit it with a wooden stick until it came off..
