THE HOLIDAY ALREADY BEGUN

Maybe the question should be, when does your holiday end(for me, in particular), cause the end of my own break seems closer than the start. Closer than i really want.
Oh, never mind me, I get that this is pointing at the general fdstive/Christmas break.

I've been home for almost two months. I think that I got back in the second week of October for the semester break and would be resuming sometime in January. Yes, I really have rested. It's been a good time, and here I am wishing that the days crawl really slow so that I don't get to go back to school already. If wishes were horses, right?

Can you already feel the harmattan? Can you smell Christmas? Yes, I know what it smells like. It has this nostalgic smell, but I haven't caught a whiff if it yet, but the harmattan breeze is already beginning to make the morning really chilly.

The festivities haven't begun yet. It should, in a matter of days, when people begin to make journies to different parts of the country and to flood the markets. I enjoy seeing the manner and frenzy with which people go about it. I like how lighthearted and exciting it seems to make most people be. Well, they all deserve it. For many, it's the one time in the year that they get to be with their families(everyone). For others, it's the one time that they actually get to spend and eat and enjoy their money without feeling bizarre or doing calculations about what other household need that the amount could cater to. For some, it's the time that they actually get to rest. Whatever it is, I like it for everyone.

As I mentioned, I am on break even though the festive holiday is yet to begin around here. I'm hone, and like every other year, I will be spending the time with my family. It's usually fun this way.

I'm expecting that my siblings all return, and we get to catch up after being away and busy and not being able to meet up altogether in so long. That's what I look forward to. That's what u long for - the moments together, gisting, catching up, playing, planning, praying, the banners, all of it.

Normally, we always had to travel down to the village for the time, but I'm not so sure that that would be the case this year. Some may. I'm just not so sure.

I don't do so much. At least not enough to keep me from having a good time. Hive wouldn't stop me from having a good time. My other job, which is remote wouldn't and neither would the other quite personal stuff that I am embarking on.

If I feel like the workload is being too much, I could either shed some or allocate time to them, which I would never go over. But, I know that there'll be no such hindrances.

I'm looking to have a good time. I'm looking to possibly hanging out with a couple of friends. Although I'm not so certain about that as I could pull out in the last minute. Right now, all I can think about is the amazing moments with family and the memories to be made. This holiday is for my people, and I'm maximizing that..

Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
