Hello all dear friends of Hive, today I come to tell you about an interesting experience. Yesterday we all went to celebrate the festivities in honor of St. Anthony of Padua (his day is June 13). There were masses, walks with the saint, songs, dances, including the traditional machete fight in front of the church. Everyone was given Saint Anthony’s bread, which is a little blessed bread that is given to the parishioners on that day and must be eaten while praying the Our Father.
On the way home many businesses put their shelves with St. Anthony and on the walk with the saint when they arrived at one of them the dancers began to participate in the dance to honor the saint and that place. As well as the most devout businesses such as “Cachapas San Antonio” gave away their products to the people and shared games, bread and entertainment.

Hola a todos queridos amigos de Hive, el día de hoy vengo a contarles una experiencia interesante. Ayer fuimos a celebrar todos las fiestas en honor a San Antonio de Padua (Su día es el 13 de junio). Hubo misas, caminatas con el santo, cantos, bailes, entre ellos la tradicional lucha con machetes frente al templo. Regalaron a todos pan de san Antonio que es un pancito bendito que se da a los feligreses en ese día y hay que comerlo rezando el padre nuestro.
En al camino a casa muchos negocios pusieron sus estantes con San Antonio y en la caminata con el santo al llegar a uno comenzaba los bailarines a participar en la danza para horrar al santo y a ese local. Así como también los negocios más devotos como “Cachapas San Antonio” Regalaron de sus productos a las personas y compartieron juego, pan y entretenimiento.
