Some of us have that one person you really like and can share almost everything with, including secrets, and other material stuffs. For this round, tell us about your favourite peron. why is he/she your favourite? except this person, do you have a second favourite person?
When we say something is our favorite, it simply means what is more important to us above any other things. For example, my phone is my favorite asset because without phone, i am totally paralyzed. You can have anything that belongs to me but, you see my phone, hehe don't go there. It's my favorite and very much important to me.
When i came across the topic of this contest, i paused a little to rethink because am a kind of person that doesn't make friends. Rather, i chose to be on my own due to problems associated with friends and relationships. But does that mean i don't have whom i share almost everything i have with? Not at all. Though we are far from each other but anytime we meet ourselves, we share secrets together. Sometimes we talk on phone. I have had some ugly experiences with the people i call my favorite person and because of that, i dont know whom to trust again or share my secrets with. And because of that, i chose to be on my own. For example, two years ago, i had this particular friend of mine who later became my favorite person. I shared my everything with her. Unknown to me that she has been hiding her real self to me. One day, something happened that got me thinking 🤔. This my favorite person got an opportunity and hide it from me. I came to know about it through her closets friend. When i confronted her,she was like, i wanted to shock you!! Shew!! Imagine that!. From that day, our friendship begins to grow cold. At a point, i stopped visiting her and she stopped coming to me either. I can't believe that the person who knows everything about me will want to shock me even when she pretended sharing what she has with me.
Now, who is that special person? It's my immediate younger sister. She is my favorite person. She understands me and i share my feelings with her both on phone calls and in person. She gives me a listening ear and contributes positively each time am bothered. She assist me and she doesn't hide the necessary things from me. Because of that, she became my favorite person. She calls me often to hear from me. She is indeed a sister born in the time of distress because she is always there for me.
I still have another special person which is one of my elders sisters. While growing up, we don't agree because i was very stubborn then. Can't believe she will be my favorite today.
When you have a good sister that understands you or even brother, believe me, you won't look for favorite person elsewhere. This young lady with me is my second favorite person. She advised me like a mother. She appreciates me since she founds out the potentials in me. We are best of friends, she respects me irrespective of our age barrier. She doesn't hide anything from me whenever is necessary. She is very open and willing to share what she has with me. Because of that, she is my favorite. These two person's i just mentioned is my favorite and will always be despite the fact they're far from me. Whenever i have any challenges, I don't hesitate to call any of them.
It's not all about money, it's understanding and someone who will always be there for you.
