What brings true happiness and how important is it to you, to pursue it?
On Sunday April 10th 2016, i became a mother. When i turned my eyes and see my beautiful baby girl, i was so happy 😊. Honestly, child bearing is a source of happiness. Today she is 8+, seeing her growing in hight, knowledge and wisdom, it makes me more happier.
Apart from children, we drive happiness when we are among our loved ones. For example, being in the mist of quality friends in a large or small gathering. At that moment, we are happy. Our wedding days, or wealth makes us happy too. For example, when we are financially stable, honestly we will be happy. On Wednesday last week, i won a giveaway from a particular project which amounted to $35.7, i was so happy because the money came when i less expected it. I was so happy which means, money gives happiness. Do you know that up votes gives happiness 😊 hahaha. That is to say, many things makes us happy 😁. But is that true happiness? Let's finds out.
True happiness, how?
In my quest for true happiness and my experiences in life, I have come to discover the source of true happiness. Is not money. Why? Some are wealthy but their is no peace in their homes. Remember, when theirs no peace, no happiness. Some have all the money but due to sickness, they're not enjoying it happily. Some do face other strange challenges that's making them not to enjoy their wealth 🤑. And they money that makes you happy today can leave you tomorrow. So, money can never bring true happiness.
When two friends met at the first time, they're happy. During courtship and dating, their love grows and they are more happier. But after marriage, this happy journey might end up in a disastrous way. That means, marriage or relationship doesn't bring true happiness. What of education or careers? Are they the source of true happiness? Not at all. After higher institutions, some ends up not having a job. Some with job finds is so stressful while some after acquiring the career, may not have money to establish themselves.
True happiness comes from walking with the true God. In the holy book 📚📖, i came to understand that if i truly wants to be happy, first, i need to be pure at heart 💜. What those that means? It means we should observe the commandments of the God. Love our fellow humans as ourselves, be ready to forgive and show mercy to people we will be truly happy. When your heart is relaxed. When you have a hope and good directions in life, that's the true happiness. Seeing this,am working extremely hard to maintain a good relationship with my heavenly father Jehovah because having a clear conscience and a relaxed mind that we are working together, gives me the true happiness.
True happiness come from above and we can only have it when we are in good relationship with the one above. It's free, if only we pursue it he will give it to us.
