Every tickling of the clock counts. Sixty of it makes for a minute. It takes a count of sixty minutes to make an hour. Conglomeration of twenty four hours makes for a day. This is how times and season comes and goes. Utilizing appropriately each day is what makes for a purposeful and meaningful day.
It takes careful planning, discipline and determination to be organized in life.
Being organized can be a simple and difficult thing to do with individual background being a contributive factor.
Being organized is simply the way people compose, arrange and manage their work to have a great day and never end up wasting their day. Looking at a society with a rising cost of living and the need to make the most of the time at one's disposal to meet ends meet The following tips and suggestions that has helped me personally might come handy.
- Make a time table for work both at home and working place. Assigning time to every task. This helps me to manage my time well. For example as early as 4-5am is morning devotion both personal and family, boil water for bathing and preparing break fast at the same time getting ready for work before 7:00-7:30am and so on.
- Plan what you want to do per day; planing your task ahead. What and what do you want to achieve. For example I will make breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have a lesson plan to write, I have a write up to do on hive. Children clothes to wash. Plan your work and timed it, you see that you've done a great deal for the day.
- Priorities your work: Set priorities the most important work should be done first to avoid not being able to get your work done. In other words Make a to do list in the order of importance .
- Set disciplinary measures for your home especially when dealing with children to avoid distraction. For example when it's time for seaster let it be observed, dinning time should be adhered by all collectively at set time.
5.Practice division of labor. Share the work when you have helpers or children who are grown. Give each their work or responsibilities. For example sweeping, washing dishes, making beds ,dusting the sitting room, mopping the floor , washing the toilet an so on share the work and supervise so that you don't over work your self. - Avoid multi-tasking we came into the world and met work and Will die and live work so do what you can per time. This was why I said earlier you should plan your work and timed it. You can not finished all the work in one day as some are wokerholics. The final point I want to make here is that at every point of your work weather at home or at work ensure that the environment at which you are doing the work is neat. Neatness of work and the surrounding is one of the admired qualities of an organized person.
