I havn't written anything in almost a month on Hive and as the days went by I always had it at the back of my mind that there was something incomplete about me. I had hoped that I'll be done with my final university exams and project work to face Hive squarely but then a tragedy happened.
When it happened I was dumbstruck, hopeless, and God had a lot of questions to answer. But as I held the hand of my friend as he laid on the hospital bed almost lifeless, I knew there was still hope. After writing that post soliciting for support, I had a tiny bit of hope but it wasn't enough to complete a mustard seed.
Funny how that little hope was turned into a greater will. I was shocked out of my wits with the sort of response I had received. You all could have just ignored or pass it as a scam or whatever. But no, instead you decided to lend a helping hand. Like, I know they're a number of you with problems of your own but you still went out to your way to sow a seed into this boy's life.
I'm literally speechless and there's tears running down my eyes...like for real.
I had always hoped that I'll find a place where I can call home, a place where love and togetherness is the order of the day. Luckily i found Hive and I was lucky to bring @nelson-george to share this space with me.

@nelson-george is recuperating, I'll be dropping updates about how well he's fairing. We're not allowed to take pictures yet but I can assure you he's out of danger and got to read some of your messages.
His sister is doing good too, luckily she didn't get hurt. You can add her up at @dianelson (yes, she's also on Hive).
We'll be looking forward to moving to a more safer environment when the time is right. Hopefully this country we live in will get better.
