A timeless metro station #monomad(ENG/GER)

The picture was taken in a subway station in Berlin. Compared to most stations in Germany, I found this one a bit more "beautiful". The ceilings were equipped with small LEDs, reminiscent of a starry sky. In the top image, I actually didn't edit out any people or objects – there was a brief moment when no one was on the platform. However, in the middle at a pillar, you can see a small backpack, belonging to a waiting person. It almost looks idyllic.

The plan was actually for the second picture to be nominated by me. However, the focus is to the left of the subway, on the outer edge of the cladding. Unfortunately, I only have two photos, in both cases with the focus not ideally placed. Therefore, the photo doesn't meet my standards – but I still find it quite nice in a small version.

In the submitted photo, the focus is on the clock showing 11:07. I find this a particularly nice addition to the overall impression of the picture, as everything appears "still".

Das Bild wurde in einer U-Bahn-Station in Berlin aufgenommen. Im Vergleich zu den meisten Stationen in Deutschland fand ich diese etwas „schöner“. Die Decken waren mit kleinen LEDs ausgestattet, was ein wenig an einen Sternenhimmel erinnert. Beim oberen Bild habe ich tatsächlich keine Menschen oder Gegenstände rauseditiert – es gab einen kurzen Moment, in dem keine Person am Gleis stand. In der Mitte an einer Säule kann man allerdings einen kleinen Rucksack erkennen, von einer wartenden Person. Es wirkt schon fast idyllisch.

Eigentlich war geplant, dass das zweite Bild von mir nominiert wird. Allerdings liegt der Fokus links neben der U-Bahn, am äußeren Rand der Verkleidung. Leider habe ich nur zwei Fotos, bei denen in beiden Fällen der Fokus nicht optimal liegt. Daher entspricht das Foto nicht meinen Ansprüchen – in kleiner Ausführung finde ich es dennoch ganz ansehnlich.

Bei dem eingereichten Foto liegt der Fokus auf der Uhr, die 11:07 anzeigt. Dies finde ich eine besonders schöne Ergänzung zum allgemeinen Eindruck des Bildes, da alles „still“ steht.
