Summary:
I am currently catching up on my posts as I have many photos, especially from my Istanbul trip with around 6000 pictures. Editing takes a long time. The Sultan Ahmed Mosque was pink instead of blue during Ramadan. Some photos show me, partly in a casual style. Taken with the iPhone 15 Pro Max and edited in Lightroom.
For those who don't know the place, on one side is the Sultan Ahmed Mosque and directly opposite is the Hagia Sophia. I also "posed" in front of it. However, the pictures are not on the same level as those in front of the Blue Mosque, or in this case, pink.
So, I was in Istanbul at the end of March – right in the middle of Ramadan. The Sultan Ahmed Mosque was not blue at that time but slightly pink. Not as extreme as in the photo, I did play around with the saturation and vibrance of the colors a bit.
But as I mentioned before, I am now quite happy to finally have some pictures of myself. There's even one where I can imagine my kids asking, "What do you look like?" These are the pictures from behind. The pants have a loose fit style. Combined with the shirt, it looks a bit like I have no gluteus maximus. A bit too baggy for my taste – but I only noticed how it looked in the photos. 😅
About the photos themselves: Taken with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. No tripod, no extreme long exposures, and still really good quality. I edited the pictures as always in Lightroom, which is getting better and better.
Small digression – iPhone:
Before, I had the 14 Pro, but the difference in night shots is huge. Even though I've read on various social media platforms that the camera is supposed to be worse. The reason given is 24 megapixels in night shots – the old generation had 48 megapixels. That's total nonsense, the previous generations all downscaled to 12 megapixels in night mode, and the 15 generation has double the resolution. People didn't read that correctly. Apart from the camera and USB-C, I can't report any major advantages. But the camera is a huge leap for me – I can't imagine upgrading again in the next few years. I only gave up the 14 Pro because my girlfriend urgently needed a new phone, and I thought she could have my 14 and I'd get the new one. Otherwise, I would have stayed with the 14 for a long time.

Ich hole aktuell meine Posts nach, da ich viele Fotos habe, besonders von meinem Istanbul-Trip mit ca. 6000 Bildern. Das Bearbeiten dauert lange. Die Sultan Ahmed Moschee war während des Ramadan rosa statt blau. Einige Fotos zeigen mich, teils in lockerem Stil. Fotografiert mit dem iPhone 15 Pro Max und bearbeitet in Lightroom.
Wer den Platz nicht kennt, auf der einen Seite ist die Sultan Ahmed Moschee und direkt gegenüber ist die Hagia Sophia. Auch vor der habe ich "gepost". Die Bilder sind allerdings nicht auf dem selben Level wie die vor der blauen Moschee, oder in dem Fall hier, rosa.
Jetzt war ich also Ende März in Istanbul - mitten zur Zeit vom Ramadan. Die Sultan Ahmed Moschee war zu dieser Zeit nicht blau, sondern leicht rosa. Nicht ganz so extrem wie auf dem Foto, ich habe da natürlich etwas mit den Sättigungen und der Vibrance der Farben rumgespielt.
Aber wie schon mal angesprochen, bin ich jetzt recht happy, endlich einige Bilder auch von mir zu haben. Es ist auch eines dabei, wo ich mir gut vorstellen kann, dass meine Kinder fragen werden: "Wie siehst du denn aus?". Damit sind die Bilder von hinten gemeint. Die Hose hat einen Loose Fit Stil. Wirkt in der Kombination mit dem Hemd ein wenig so, als hätte ich keinen Gluteus Maximus. Bisschen zu baggy für meinen Geschmack - habe ich jetzt aber auch erst auf den Fotos bemerkt, dass das Ganze so ausgesehen hat. 😅
Zu den Fotos an sich: Aufgenommen mit dem Smartphone iPhone 15 Pro Max. Kein Stativ, keine extremen Langzeitaufnahmen und trotzdem eine echt gute Qualität. Bearbeitet habe ich die Bilder wie immer in Lightroom, das zunehmend immer besser wird.
Kleiner Exkurs - iPhone:
Vorher hatte ich das 14 Pro, der Unterschied bei Nachtaufnahmen ist aber gewaltig. Auch wenn ich schon auf diversen sozialen Media Plattformen gelesen habe, dass die Kamera schlechter geworden sein soll. Begründung: 24 Megapixel bei Nachtaufnahmen - die alte Generation habe 48 Megapixel. Das ist totaler Schwachsinn, die Generationen davor haben im Nachtmodus alle auf 12 Megapixel runterskaliert und die 15er Generation hat die doppelte Auflösung. Da wurde nicht richtig gelesen. Bis auf die Kamera und USB-C kann ich aber über keine großartigen Vorteile berichten. Aber die Kamera ist für mich auf jeden Fall schon mal ein riesiger Sprung - ich kann mir auch nicht vorstellen, in den nächsten Jahren nochmal zu upgraden. Das 14 Pro habe ich auch nur abgegeben, weil meine Freundin dringend ein neues brauchte und ich dann meinte, sie bekommt mein 14er und ich hol mir dann das neue, sonst wäre ich wohl auch noch lange beim 14er geblieben.
