Hi everyone! My name is Christine Jane Rivera Arado, you can call me “Tine or Jane”, and I just turned 23 this January 8, 2025. Ever since I was young, I really love sharing my thoughts to everyone, whether through stories, conversations, or simple reflections. That’s why when I heard about this platform, I didn’t hesitate to join! This will serve as my little space where I can share my interests, daily activities, personal growth, life experiences, and adventures. I have so many stories to tell, and I can’t wait to take you along on this journey. I hope you guys follow along as I share my little details to you. More than anything, I hope this blog becomes a place of encouragement, a reminder that life is meant to be lived with purpose, faith, and joy. Let’s use this platform to spread positivity, inspire one another, and grow together!
A little bit about me. I’m already married! I tied the knot with my best friend and partner in life on March 7, 2023. I’m also the eldest child, the eldest granddaughter, and the eldest niece on my father’s side, which, if you ask me, it makes me think that I’m powerful! (Jokes!! 😆) But you know, realization really hit me hard, being the eldest comes with a lot of responsibilities, BUT I embrace it fully because ever since I was a kid, my parents taught me that family comes first and what makes it better? Every member of our family thinks the same way. We look out for each other, support each other, and celebrate each other’s wins in life. I also have a lot of baby cousins, nieces, and nephews, and they bring so much joy and laughter into my life. I love them with all my heart as if they’re my own, and every moment that I spent with them reminds me of how important family is.
Right now, my parents are in Baguio, where they continue working to support my brother. Them and I have taken the responsibilities of supporting my brother’s education, and if you ask me if I miss them? YES, I always do, I can’t let a day pass without calling them or asking them “kumusta?”. Being away to them makes life a little harder for me because even though they raised me to be a strong and independent person, there’s still a little girl inside me longing for their presence to be near. But at the same time, I understand why they need to be there, they’re sacrificing so that my brother can finish his studies. And for that, I am truly grateful. Their hard work and dedication remind me every day that love isn’t just about being present, it’s also about making sacrifices for the people you love.
Aside from being a hands-on wife, I also work as a virtual assistant because ever since I really dream of being able to take care of your family and home and also being able to help my partner provide for the needs of our family. When I entered, I really thought that it would be simple, but as time goes by, I realize it required dedication, patience, and a LOT of hard work. There were many nights of endless prayers, sleepless nights spend in applying for jobs, and lot of moments of uncertainty, but by God’s grace, I landed a client! And today, I’m still working with them, learning and growing every day.
Balancing everything, being a full-time VA, running a small sari-sari store, and managing household responsibilities can be overwhelming sometimes. But I learned that with great faith, perseverance, hard work and a strong support system, anything is possible. My husband is my biggest cheerleader ever since, the support he gives, his shoulder he leaned for me to cry on during my lowest points, a thousand ‘thank yous” will never be enough. While we are still waiting for God’s perfect time to bless us with a child, I choose to see this season as an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to build a better future for our family.
Starting this blog is something new for me, but I’m really excited where this journey will lead. I hope that through my stories, experiences, and reflections, I can encourage, inspire, and remind someone that God’s timing is always perfect. Before I end my introblog, I just want to thank a good friend of mine who introduced this platform to me, Ma'am @antonette, I thank her for her guidance and patience, and her continuous support. Let's all remember that no matter what season of life you are in, trust in His plans, keep moving forward, and never stop believing in the power of faith, hard work, and love.
Thank you for reading until here. Let’s take this journey together! To more stories to share! See yaaa!!!!💖
