Reflections From Water Surfaces. #Reflection Hunters Contest Round 185

in #hive-17901714 days ago

We had rain yesterday. We have been having rain these days. In fact the way it is raining, it looks like we are in the month of June. The rain has brought refreshment to our community.

A few months ago, farmers were complaining about the drought. There was a serious problem in the farms because our crops were drying and dying because of the lack of rain. It was a surprising scenario because we usually have rain in the months of July and August. But this year, the dry season set in during those months.

Praise God, now the weather has turned in our favor. We are having a lot of rain in the months of September going to October. The farms are fruitfully greenish. We are hopeful of some good harvest from the farms.

You might not understand why we are particular about the rain and farming. It is because the cost of feeding in Nigeria has increased exponentially within the last one year. It cost a fortune to buy food. So, the hope of the citizens has turned to farming. Many people now go into farming to help soothe the pains from the high inflation.

When going out, I observed these reflections from the standing water bodies. That is why I captured them to use for my #reflection hunters contest entry.

You Captured some great reflection 😀
Good luck 👍

Thank you

These are some cool reflection photos. All the best to you in the contest.

By the way, it's good to read that people are going into farming. That means they are growing some food for their tables.

Due to the high inflation rate, and unbearable cost of food stuffs, farming seems to be the sure way for generating food. Thank you for reading

Same here. Our place was affected by drought last April to June and we have to fetch water from our neighbor. Then when the rain arrived, things went back to normal. Hopefully next year or in the coming years, there will be no droughts. Your reflection shots are nice, too!🤗💚🫰
