Hello, dear Hivers!
I'm clearing my phone memory now to make room for more pictures on our next trip, and I found these photos during our last visit to our hometown two months ago. My children's eyes brightened at seeing their beach photo on my screen. Are we going back? They asked in chorus. Not really, I'm just transferring files. lol
This beach has been our go-to every time we are going home in our province. The excellent white sand beach can be accessible without requiring a boat ride or water crossing; it's just a ten-minute stroll from the national road. The steep downhill stroll is the real challenge going to this beach; the time it takes to go down will be double going up. It used to be a secluded area before, but because of social media and a few influencers featuring the beach, more tourists are now visiting, and there is now a crowd, especially on weekends.
I remember visiting here without any available structures like cottages, bathrooms, or stores. Just unspoiled nature and its bliss. But since tourists were starting to come, a lot of cottages were built; there was already a shower area and bathroom to change, and I had noticed a few stalls offering snacks and prepared meals. It was nice to see business start, but we also missed the tranquility of the place.
The clear, bluish water is very much visible on our way down from the road. The brief yet exhausting walk is ultimately worthwhile. My kids wished they built a zipline that would bring tourists up and down to make it more fun and accessible. But nonetheless, they enjoyed their time swimming and playing on the sand.
I can't wait to share more beach getaway ideas with you all now that school vacation is here.
Till then!
All photos were taken by me, unless stated otherwise.
