Hello CineTV
Hello all! Thank you all for your kind words on Discord and I am truly sorry for the delay in getting this contest out.
I also wanted to say thank you all for your participation in the latest contest. There are so many great choices for movie vehicles and the selection for the best ones are difficult. With all of that said, let's get to the winners...
First Place
Our first place winner in this contest is @irenenavarroart with their submission about Gran Torino found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@irenenavarroart/cinetv-contest-gran-torino-el-mejor-auto-de-pelicula
This is a great choice. Clint Eastwood and his car make the movie what it is. A classic car and a classic movie. Thanks for your entry and congrats! :)
Second place
The second place finisher was @wendy23 with a review of Back to the Future found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@wendy23/cine-tv-contest-38-favorite-movie-vehicle-the-delorean-bttf
The Delorean is a classic movie vehicle. Without the time machine there would be no movie and it is so iconic. I love the choice and thank you for your review.
Third place
In third place we have @nbarrios67 with their choice of Duel here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@nbarrios67/cine-tv-contest-38-favorite-568a6bb42229c
Thank you for entering the contest with a choice I had never heard of before! A Steven Spielberg movie that is dominated with important vehicles. Great choice and entry.
Congrats!
225 CINE COINS and 100 Ecency Points will be transferred to the winners.
Now if anyone disagrees with our choices then please tag us in a comment on this post!
And let's move on to the new contest!
Favorite Movie with a Rivalry
Write about your favorite movie with a Rivalry.
On to our next contest! Thank you to @ecency for sponsoring our Cine TV contests! Check them out at ecency.com. 🙂
Okay so I have admit that this contest is again from my own life, as we explore the idea of rivalries. My favorite football team is playing it's main rival and it is a huge game. With the World Cup going on, I am guessing that there are going to be some high tension matches.
In this contest we are looking for you to pick a movie to review that has a rivalry. Rivalries aren't just in sports, you can find them in business or even politics. You can be creative with the definition of rivalry but it needs to make some logical sense.
Let me give you some thoughts to get you thinking about rivalries. What about the rivalry in the movie stood out to you? Was this a positive rivalry or a negative one for the characters or entities? What kinds of things did the people or entities in the rivalry do to each other? Have you ever been in a rivalry like the one in the movie? What is your personal opinion about rivalries?
As per usual, make this a personal review and don't just recite the plot to a movie. Be creative and I look forward to reading your selections. Good luck!
Please check out the list of rules and suggestions below or feel free to ask me in the Discord channel if you have any questions (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
