Welcome to the Best of the Beanies, a curation compilation of some of the top stories from this week's Spill The Beans Creative Writing Prompt.

These authors gave us some amazing content, and we would like to highlight them. We hope that you will take a look at the posts and perhaps vote or leave a comment or a tip for the authors.

The Best of the Beanies, in no particular order - they were all so good!

"An Album of Failed Latte Arts!"

☕️ "I got a bit grumpy and started sipping at my coffee. Boy, I'd have thrown out that stupid machine a long time ago had it not been for this insanely smooth espresso and steamer it had!
Seeing me grumpy, the machine decided to have more fun!
C'mon now princess! Don't be a grump! What are you getting mad at me for? I mean, have you looked at your latte art? You have failed latte art harder than Pam has at art school!
That last "The Office" joke Pam's failed art career cracked me up! I was starting to see why I really could not throw the machine out! It was me, inside that machine! I would have made that same joke!" @simplifylife

A monday with Café Bombón and Special Moments

☕️ "While trying to fix that disaster the coffee maker began to make a kind of dance on the plateau and my children, say that the coffee maker spoke to them, the truth is I did not listen to anything but they did. It was because children are always open to magic things. Step by step they told me the pot's words.
"You do not need a filter to appreciate the true chaotic beauty of coffee! Forget those delicate gadgets to filter and embrace the wild side of coffee flavours.
This is where magic happens!
I was amazed and answered to them. I will consider it and smile then. It will be a rustic charm, like artisanal coffee" @maylink

Do You Need that Filter, Girl || #SpilltheBeans #87

☕️ "You think I don't know I'm a burden, but I do, and that's what makes me cranky; makes me complain, girl... I'm old and on Tramadol; what's your excuse?" The electric coffee maker continued to speak naturally and bitterly while brewing the hot, lumpy coffee, darker than usual and with a malicious tone. I had not realized it was it--she?--I filled the chamber with water, the basket with ground coffee, I screwed... The flame was too high; I put the moka pot on the stove and watched how the flame played with the plastic handle while heating it too much, too much but not enough to get me out of my stupor." @marlyncabrera

Strange conversation

☕️ "Armed with courage I dared to disassemble the coffee pot, I paid attention and I could see a slight vibration in the filter, the filter was talking to a part of the mould that I had cleaned. Neither one nor the other had mouths or ears, but I was sure that there was a conversation between those two, I could clearly hear what they were saying..." @irvinc

Humor, Wit and Sassiness

☕️ "I did the happy dance and made my way to the kitchen with my coffee cup in my hand, feeling the warmth from the hot liquid I felt insurmountable.
I took a seat, and while trying to finish the remaining content of my coffee I heard someone giggle, for the first few seconds I was taken aback but remembering it was my coffee machine I scoffed." @ibbtammy

The poor coffee pot without a filter

☕️ "What's wrong with this coffee maker?” The girl struggled to pull the coffee machine out. “Mom, I can't get the coffee maker out.”
The mother arrived and looked closely. “The cord is tangled with the pipe.” She pulled the coffee maker out.
“That's the end of me, goodbye cruel world. Noooo...” The machine closed its eyes.
“Look, daughter, it's ready to make more coffee. I bought filters. Haha.” The mother was taking out the jug with the delicious freshly made coffee.
The coffee maker opened its eyes and breathed calmly, and then the machine saw the mixer with new accessories on the other side of the kitchen. The daughter was beating some eggs. The mixer and the coffee maker looked at each other and then painted a few smiles." @rinconpoetico7
