This post goes out to all upcoming musicians on Hive. I will be giving upcoming artistes weekly updates to tutor them how to be successful in the music business. So this will be my little way of helping young talents all over the world.
So to be a blown artiste, first of all you must have passion for what you do. I notice some people force their self to do music even when they are wack or not good enough. There is no harm in trying but you need to be unique and stick to what you know. If you are a good singer then stick to singing, don't force yourself to rap and vice versa except you just want to try something new. 😁😉
I will take myself for example, am a rapper and i stick to it, but that dosent stop me from learning how to sing, cos i will have to sing some of my songs eventually. But i do a lot of rehearsals in my quiet time.
Now, I will be revealing some secrets to upcoming hive musicians from time to time, so they cab get to the level of being A-list artistes in their various cities,states and countries.
One of the ways your song will go viral easily is making sure it is played on radio regularly. Radio is a great tool when it comes to marketing an artiste. Make a list of top radio stations around you, send your song/songs to them or visit them in person and get your songs aired. Do this for a period of 3 -4months and watch the difference. I will advice that you have your songs distributed on music digital stores before airing them on radio. It will help boost your streams.
