Hola queridos amigos ¡feliz jueves! espero que esten pasando una estupenda semana y que todo se les esté dando de manera positiva, por mi parte me encuentro muy bien, disfrutando los bellos momentos que nos da la vida. En ésta ocasión quiero compartirles un restaurante que conocí en la ciudad de Fuengirola, ubicado en al sur de España. Fué una salida sólo de hermanas, ya que ella había reservado en un spa para hacernos unos masajes, pero tambien hizo una reservacion en un restaurante muy conocido en esa ciudad.
Se trata del restaurante " El mesón de Andres" Ubicado en la zona central de la ciudad y muy cerca de la playa, con una de trayectoria impecable, Presenta a sus clientes, en su mayoría turistas, quienes se sientes atraídos por la presencia de playas cercanas y por supuesto por su deliciosa gastronomía, comida mediterránea auténtica y tradicional de la zona y del país. Llegamos justo cerca de las 1pm. Por suerte mi hermana había reservado, el mesonero nos hizo el comentario que ya todo estaba reservado. Fuimos los segundos clientes en llegar, En España se almuerza generalmente entre las 2 y 3 de la tarde.
Recibimos la carta. Pedimos primero para refrescarnos una soda con limón, pues el calor estaba súper fuerte 42 grados centígrados de temperatura.
La carta es muy variada. Para iniciar, de entrada pedimos la ensalada de Cabrales, estaba exquisita! compuesta por un mix de lechugas, queso de cabra, tomate cherry, nueces, almendras laminadas, palitos de manzana, pasas y cebolla caramelizada, fué una combinación exótica e irresistible, me encantó, tambien nos sirvieron pan rústico hecho allí en el restaurante y aceitunas verdes que por norma prácticamente en casi todos los restaurantes lo sirven de entrada.
A continuación llegó el momento de decidir por el plato principal, estaba indecisa entre tantas exquisiteces juntas, arroces, carnes, pescados. Al final me decidí por un salmón, ya que tenía tiempo sin comerlo. Venía en una salsa de puerros muy delicada y de guarnición unas papas salteadas con romero, este plato estaba super delicioso los sabores muy equilibrados y sublimes. Por su parte mi hermana pidió un solomillo ibérico, venía acompañada con papas horneadas. Les comento que no aguanté la tentación y le pedí probarlo, es la carne más tierna y jugosa que he probado en mi vida, además la realizan a la brasa, así que el sabor es delicioso, el mesonero me comentaba que ese solomillo era de cerdos clasificados y alimentados sólo con bellotas, lo que hace tan deliciosa esa carne.
En general cada platillo fué una experiencia única, los sabores, las preparaciones, las presentaciones y la calidad de los productos sin duda alguna hacen de este lugar uno de los restaurantes más predilectos de la zona.
Al final pasamos una tarde muy agradable, recordando muchas anécdotas, reímos.y disfrutanos un momento inolvidable. Si van a España, les recomiendo al 100% este lugar, van a pasar un momento inédito. Hello dear friends, happy Thursday! I hope you are having a great week and that everything is going well for you, for my part I am very well, enjoying the beautiful moments that life gives us. This time I want to share with you a restaurant I visited in the city of Fuengirola, located in the south of Spain. It was an outing only for sisters, since she had booked a spa for massages, but she also made a reservation at a very well known restaurant in that city.
It is the restaurant "El Meson de Andres" Located in the central area of the city and very close to the beach, with an impeccable track record, presents its customers, mostly tourists, who are attracted by the presence of nearby beaches and of course for its delicious cuisine, authentic and traditional Mediterranean food of the area and the country. We arrived just around 1pm. Luckily my sister had made a reservation, the waiter told us that everything was already booked. We were the second customers to arrive. In Spain they usually have lunch between 2 and 3pm.
We received the menu. First we ordered a soda with lemon to cool off, as the heat was super hot and the temperature was 42 degrees Celsius.
The menu is very varied. To start, we ordered the Cabrales salad, it was exquisite! composed of a mix of lettuce, goat cheese, cherry tomato, walnuts, sliced almonds, apple sticks, raisins and caramelized onion, it was an exotic and irresistible combination, I loved it, they also served us rustic bread made there in the restaurant and green olives that as a rule in almost all restaurants they serve it as a starter.
Then it was time to decide on the main course, I was undecided between so many delicacies together, rice, meat, fish. In the end I decided on salmon, as I had not eaten it for a long time. It came in a very delicate leek sauce and garnished with potatoes sautéed with rosemary, this dish was super delicious, the flavors were very balanced and sublime. On the other hand, my sister ordered an Iberian sirloin steak, accompanied with baked potatoes. I tell you that I could not resist the temptation and asked her to try it, it is the most tender and juicy meat I have ever tasted in my life, it is also grilled, so the flavor is delicious, the waiter told me that the sirloin was from classified pigs and fed only with acorns, which makes this meat so delicious.
In general, each dish was a unique experience, the flavors, the preparations, the presentations and the quality of the products undoubtedly make this place one of the most favorite restaurants in the area.
In the end we spent a very pleasant evening, remembering many anecdotes, laughing and enjoying an unforgettable moment.
