Past Saturday I suddenly had a lot of time off. An event I was attending got cancelled because literally nobody went to see it 💀. Those are the kind of sad things that happen on a society that keeps getting worst day by day... To control my anxiety I started scrolling over my whatsapp statuses and channels in order to find that little bit of dopamine that would get me out of that whole. And I found it. I saw that one of my friends was going to participate on an entrepreneurs meeting. The location was a few blocks away from where I was, so I decided to show up and show her my support.
Yeah, I know I'm probably a little impulsive, but I guess that's an important piece of my charm 😂. So in a heartbeat I was sitting next to my friend Marianni (@rivereyesmusic) while she was inciting me to buy any of her works. She sells handmade accessories, and right now she has available an interesting variety of items. I told her that before buying anything, I needed to see what the other entrepreneurs had in their hands.
Right next no her was a girl called Roci, who had lots of items made of crochet. I couldn't afford buying the piece of The little Prince, but I got her number because I'm pretty interested on buying stuff from her. She has such a sweet personality, and I think that's something you can see in what she does. Even there, she was knitting while she talked to the costumers. I really really liked her.
Right after that I found a friend of a friend, and she was also selling different things, but what I actually dared to buy was an sticker. This one is from the movie "How to train your dragon". This was my favorite movie when I was a child, and I heard that soon it's going to premier a life action version. I'm really excited about it, so I thought it would be a cute detail for my inner child.
Then I met someone amazing! Her name is Lizzy and she is the CEO of Cuquis Accessories. I really admire her work because from crystals taken from the beaches sand, she creates amazing pieces you can combine with any outfit. The thing is I didn't know her personally. A few months ago I sent to her some crystals I found with a friend that collaborates with her, and my friend returned me to necklaces (actually I was wearing one that day, as you can see on the other pictures). She immediately asked me "Aren't you Dani's friend" and I was so happy because I really didn't know how to approach to her. In the end I told her that soon I was going to ask for a ring (the ones that she got there didn't fit in any of my fingers 😂).
Finally I got into the principal store that was the host of the event, The Green Leaf. But man, if I'm being honest, all of the shii they got in there was ridiculously expensive 💀. Anyways I made sure to take some pictures and share them via WhatsApp Statuses, just in case any rich friend was interested on it 😂.
Then I returned with my friend Marianni, and I bought a pair of airings for my mother. I think that they're special, because they're made with cracking pearls. I immediately got out of there and suprised my mother with the gift. A few minutes later, my friend updated her channel with my mother's happiness face.
So, lesson learned: If you follow your instinct you can get to know people and you won't regret wasting your money 🤠. Or I guess it's just that I'm friendly and a little financially aware. Lol.
