Greetings hivebloggueros, I hope that everyone is very well today I am going to tell you about a walk that we made in the carnivals of the year 2015 to the Zurdera Eco-Tourist Camp located in Edo. Bolívar via the Manteco on the banks of the reservoir of the El Gurí Hydroelectric dam. My brother-in-law had told me about this place of freshwater beaches with white sands, without much thought I started the preparations for the kamio a week before the trip. We were excited about a family trip with the brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their respective families.
Saludos hiveblogueros, espero que todos estén muy bien hoy les voy a relatar un paseo que realizamos en los carnavales del año 2015 hacia el Campamento Eco-Turístico la Zurdera ubicado en el Edo. Bolívar vía el Manteco a orillas del embalse de la represa Hidroelectrica el Gurí. El cuñado me había hablado de este lugar de playas de agua dulce con arenas blancas, sin mucho pensar inicie los preparativos de la kamio una semana antes del viaje. Estábamos cargados de emoción un viaje familiar con el cuñado y la cuñada y sus respectivas familias.
On Friday after work we left for Puerto la Cruz in Edo Anzoátegui, where we would help the sister-in-law with the preparations for the trip, we would sleep at her house to start together towards the town of Upata. With the first rays of sun on Saturday we set off for Upata in Edo Bolívar and at around 12:00 pm we were in a restaurant waiting for Brother-in-law.
El viernes luego del trabajo partimos hacia Puerto la Cruz en el Edo Anzoátegui, donde ayudaríamos a la cuñada con los preparativos del viaje, dormiríamos en su casa para arrancar juntos hacia la población de Upata. Con los primeros rayos de sol el sábado arrancamos rumbo a Upata en el Edo Bolívar y a eso de las 12:00 pm estábamos en una Restaurante esperando al Cuñado.
We had lunch and went to a nearby park for the kids to have fun for a while and at 4 in the afternoon we left from Upata via Manteco. We advanced about 1:30 hr and the brother-in-law who was the guide deviated to the right, The path was easy, the 3 cars walked on the trail, suitable in summer for any 4x2 car, from time to time we stopped to refresh ourselves with a few drinks of sangria and see the surrounding landscape.
Almorzamos y fuimos a un parquecito cercano para que los chiquillos se divirtieran un rato y a las 4 de la tarde salimos desde Upata vía a el Manteco. Avanzamos como 1:30 hr y el cuñado que era el guía se desvió a la derecha, El caminito era fácil los 3 carros pasearon en la trochita, apta en verano para cualquier carro 4x2, de vez en cuando nos deteníamos para refrescarnos con unos traguitos de sangría y ver el paisaje circundante.
Night fell on us on the trail when the brother-in-law told us that we were arriving at the Camp. Upon arrival, the friendly owners told us where we could set up our tents, we set up the cars, greeted each other and began the work of bringing down what was required to spend the night, between laughs and drinks of sangria we set up the tents, ate something light and went to rest.
Nos cayó la noche en la trocha cuando el cuñado nos indicó que estábamos llegando al Campamento. Al llegar los amables dueños nos indicaron donde podíamos armar nuestras carpas, acomodamos los carros nos saludamos e iniciamos el trabajo de ir bajando lo que se requería para pasar la noche, entre risas y tragos de sangría armamos las carpas nos comimos algo ligero y a descansar.
At dawn I peeked through the door of the tent and was surprised to see an immense white sandbank with many dry trees and at the end the blue of the water. The owner of the camp explained to us that the drought that year was so terrible that he had never seen the lake dry up so much. While we were at breakfast, a beautiful dog approached us and stayed with us all day.
Al Amanecer me asome por la puerta de la carpa y me sorprendió ver un inmenso arenal blanco con cantidad de árboles secos y al final el azul del agua. Nos explicó el dueño del campamento que ese año la sequía fue tan terrible que él nunca había observado secarse tanto el lago. Estando en la faena del desayuno un hermoso perro se nos acercó y se quedó con nosotros todo ese día.
At noon we got ready to move as close as possible to the water to bathe and cool off a bit, to protect ourselves from the sun we put together one of those portable awnings and put it in the water and well, enjoy. Already in the afternoon we set up the grill of rigor there was something of famine in the group hahahahahaha. .
Al mediodía nos dispusimos a trasladarnos lo más cerca posible del agua para bañarnos y refrescarnos un poco, para protegernos del sol armamos uno de esos toldos portátiles lo acomodamos dentro del agua y bueno pues a disfrutar. Ya en la tarde montamos la parrillita de rigor había algo de hambruna en el grupo jajajajajaja. .
We spent 2 phenomenal days, getting to know a new place, uniting even more as a family, although one of my daughters was not physically present on this occasion, but she is always present in our hearts. As always, I hope you like the post and may peace always be with you.
Pasamos 2 días fenomenales, conociendo un nuevo lugar, uniéndonos aún más como familia, aunque una de mis hijas no estuvo presente en esta oportunidad físicamente, pero siempre presente esta en nuestros corazones. Como siempre espero les guste el post y que las paz siempre los acompañe.
