Tamme-Lauri Oak in Estonia 🌳
Had a little trip to South Estonia this summer and visited some unique places there.
This is one of the oldest, largest and thickest tree in Estonia.
It's circumference is about 8m and it is approximately 800 years old.
The oak was named after Lauritsa known as the god of fire who is said to have lived inside the oak and brought misfortune but sometimes good to the surrounding farms.
Got some cool shots from this place. 🙂
My friend standing under that tree, looking at it that way, it looks really, really big.
Big tree and small tree
