Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to talk about struggling but adapting to some circumstances!

Motivational Struggle
The waxing and waning of motivational capabilities.. my recent struggles!
It's been a bit of a chaotic past few months for me. Lots of different things going on, but one of the things that's unfortunately been taking a beating is the motivation to do things, especially in the evening!
If you've been a reader of my musings for a while, you'll know that I usually prefer to do my writing when I'm in a good mood, which for the most part is almost every day, but lately that's taken a little bit of a beating hahaha. Nothing horrible.. but still some pretty significant challenges in that department. That sadly means that my posting is taking a hit as well! Thankfully I've been able to keep up by catching it at a good time.. such as tonight where I've written a couple to stay ontop of things.
I think the good thing about it all is that I've gotten a bit more sleep than I do normally, which is also incredibly important in a lot of ways. This has helped me deal with the various chaotic things, but it's also given me a better amount of energy to do things like home workouts again! That's been a pretty good benefit for me in the health department - when we can get to a fairly consistent exercise routine then we are getting better in the health aspects of our lives!
The chaos has certainly been a wild ride. I am thankfully not one to shy away from these types of things and I'm leaning into it well enough so that I can figure out the damn thing and see what adjustments need to be made in order to come out the other side in decent shape.
I think a few times lately as well, I've changed up my writing a bit which is interesting. I don't necessarily write the dark shit, but I've been able to write in a less-than-normal mood which is a decent way to be able to adapt. I will take a look back in a few months at some of these posts and see what I can garner from them - am I able to adjust my writing preferences a little bit and write despite having some less than ideal circumstances? It certainly seems like it!
I think back on these types of things, and how having the goal to write regularly every single week has helped me in so many other ways than I thought it would. Being able to think deep and critically about things, especially about myself, has been a really big unintended consequence of the whole thing. I think many of the people here on Hive can say the same thing - writing constantly teaches you a lot about yourself that's for sure!
What about you, do you think you've been able to adapt and adjust to situations that have arisen for yourself? Let me know in the comments!
