Hello, dear readers!
Today, I want to share my epic Wednesday Walk along the river Elbe with you. Why Wednesday? Why not! The Elbe doesn't wait for the weekend to be admired.
The sun was beaming in the winter sky as I embarked on my 8-kilometer journey along the majestic river. It felt as if the weather forecast had sent an exclusive invitation to the weather to be exceptionally cheerful on this Wednesday.
Sunbeams danced on the Elbe as if they knew today was a special day. As I leisurely strolled along, I couldn't ignore the cloud formations in the sky. They were like an artful gallery telling me stories of distant lands, flying dragons, and dancing penguins. Who knew clouds could be so creative?
But suddenly, my gaze was diverted by the trees. Not ordinary trees, mind you! These trees still wore the traces of the last flood like designer clothing. I felt like a fashion critic evaluating the latest flood-inspired styles. Watermarks on the trunks – the latest trend in tree fashion!
But that wasn't all. The animals along my path seemed to be lounging in the sun as if it were an exclusive sunbed for furry models. Ducks, birds, and even the squirrels posed with an "I'm here to impress" look. I could almost hear them whispering, "Forget the catwalks of Paris, we have the sunwalks along the Elbe!"
After 8 kilometers filled with natural spectacles and animal fashion shows, I returned home with a smile on my face and the firm resolution that Wednesday walks are the new weekend getaways.
See you on the next Wednesday Walk!
