I have always been a lover of movies. I could watch movies all day and that was years back when I was in school and was less busy. Growing up, I hardly get the time to watch movies but when I do it's about action or thought provoking movies.Count me out if a movie has no action or story that does not cause you to think critically. I dislike movies that evoke intense emotions and make you want to cry.
Life is a serious business that must be approached with critical actions and not just tears. I always feel empowered whenever I watch action movies or those that make you think critically. Cartoons have never been my kind of genre as I always see them as something entertaining for kids. However, there are some that are well-created with great storylines that teach valuable life lessons.
Today at Showcase Cinema, I joined some friends to watch "The Garfield." At first, I was disappointed when I saw that it was a cartoon we were going to watch. I hadn't paid attention to the movie we were going to watch when booking our seats. Cartoons have never been my favorite, but I must say this one had a beautiful storyline that eventually grasped my attention.
It's an animated adventure comedy about a kitten called Garfield who felt abandoned by his father, became very resentful towards him, but later, through a series of events, finally got reunited with him. It's a beautiful story that had many lessons, including love, forgiveness, care, support, and teamwork.
This was my first time watching an animated movie in a cinema, and I must say I did really enjoy the story. It was a nice time at Stowcase Cinema, which is a beautiful place where anyone could hang out with friends. It's an experience that is really good since it helps you to relax and enjoy a wonderful atmosphere filled with cinematic experiences. I enjoyed every bit of it and might sometime catch another movie for another wonderful time.
