The Hive conference which was much anticipated finally came off and what better word can I use than "amazing"? Yes, amazing it was. This is our second conference hosted on the campus of KNUST. We envisioned a time when the majority of people would adopt Web 3 and its diverse opportunities, which inspired "The New Internet" conference.
Web3, as the new iteration of internet technology, is the future, and with its many possibilities, we believe it could inspire much innovation and present opportunities that can help many people for good. Hive has already set the stage for innovation, and what's left is how we can effectively presents it's value proposition and attract potential users and also investors.
This is what has inspired and driven us towards several empowerment initiatives we have undertaken in Ghana, of which the conference happens to be a great forum to give more exposure about the Hive blockchain and ecosystem. The New Internet conference provided a platform where thought leaders from the tech world gathered to share insights about what technology now presents, with Hive being the centerpiece.
The event was outlined to have presentations on blockchain, Web3, Techpreneurship, Hive and its thriving ecosystem. All the speakers nailed it with their fantastic presentations that resonated with the audience's interest in technological development, especially with Web 3 and Hive. Their presentations really kept everyone up to speed on how Internet technology is constantly evolving.
It's amazing how much potential there is to use our data and digital assets for good once we're aware of the latest developments especially in the world of internet. That was the main focus, along with diving into what Hive has achieved since it started, its real world impacts and its future possibilities.
A highlight was the Hive empowerment initiatives, such as the construction of 14 boreholes in Ghana, which truly inspired the audience. The presence of several chiefs from beneficiary communities and their address served as a testament to the fact that Hive is indeed changing lives.
We (@mcsamm and @collinz) are excited that the event was a success, with an impressive turnout of about 800 participants. Even though we hoped for even more attendees, but this number was truly inspiring. The opportunity to empower people in knowledge sharing through the Hive conference has been a great endeavour which we also see as a good marketing efforts, we believe it would go a long way to add more value to Hive.
Looking ahead, we're inspired to keep empowering people through conferences like these, spreading the word about Hive far and wide. Our sincere thanks to @valueplan for making this endeavour possible, and much appreciation to all the wonderful speakers on the various topics that set a good tone.
We also thank our partners in complementing their efforts with us, making everything a success. To all Hiveghana members and team, we are glad to say that all your wonderful contributions, like travelling from far and near, made this a success, thank you. We are inspired by the support of the Hive community also. Thanks to everyone for their contributions.
