In my early years of content creation using the blockchain platform, there were many who got inspired by even what never inspired me. It's like others valuing what you don't value. Sounds crazy right? but I learned that's how life is, the things you don't value, others may have a way of valuing it that makes you wonder what at all have they seen.
So I would say, you are an inspiration to lots of people in many ways you never knew. I never thought the journey of writing will lead me this far, glad that I now I'm part of the revolution that's changing lives. In 2017 when I began writing, someone followed me and began writing to me for assistance on the Discord. She had learned the art of content making and was mostly vlogging.
She planned her journey towards finding financial freedom through that. When she found the blockchain then (Steemit) in the early years, it was launchpad for her. The next thing was to look for someone who was consistently writing to inspire her. She told me I inspire her a lot. I wasn't even earning lots of votes then but my consistency inspired someone.
Let's be honest, the content creation landscape today can feel a bit reward-driven. Users have wise up and now want their share of the cake from central players. Blockchain promised a revolution, but earning upvotes can sometimes be tough. It's same with different platforms though but this platform is better in terms of rewards than many centralised platforms that use different kinds of algorithms when rewarding users.
But It's natural for beginners to be motivated by the potential rewards, especially when starting fresh. The daily grind can become more about chasing that payout than pure passion. However, amidst the focus on rewards, there are those lucky enough to consistently receive some curator's upvotes, this can serve as motivation for daily writing.
But even more inspiring are the creators who write regardless of votes, I would say they may be driven by pure dedication and commitment. These are the true wellsprings of motivation for new users, so if it's about staying here long, they can greatly inspire you. Fast forward to today, and I'm still bumping into great guys I met back in 2017. Lots of them are still here, I see them year after year, doing what they love.
They remain consistent, proving that passion trumps financial gain. Great people like @steevc truly inspire me. I hope our paths cross one day in UK. Some might consider their Hive earnings meager, not enough to live on. However, I always say that before any passive income source, we had active work that sustained us. This is why viewing Hive as an investment is more of a necessity than just an option.
My exploration of Hive has revealed a world beyond just writing, lots of opportunities which you discover with consistency. While I might not be a professional in content creation, the platform keeps me engaged, improving myself each day. Whether it's through my phone or laptop, I find something useful to do with my time. These days I'm super busy, but I make time to check in and see what's happening. What started as a pursuit driven by rewards has now become something I do and enjoy now. I'm glad it has inspired others as well. I hope we can all continue to draw inspiration from each other.
