Time for another Splinterlands blog as we are approaching the deadline for this week's Community Engagement Challenge and here I am explaining about a strategy which gave me a win against the powerful summoner of Possibilus The Wise with summoners like Mantaroth, Venka The Vile, Daarg Deadblast and all as we can see from opponent's lineup from below screenshot.
Me, as usual, started with a Chaos Legion summoner in General Sloan and my monsters were as I mentioned below with Iziar and 2 backline monsters healers in Spirit Hoarder and Djinn Renova playing vital role in this win for me.
Here I go with further details on the lineup.

The battle I am sharing here as with the link provided above, was with a MANA cap of 40 and Divine shield was on as the rule set and that was the only rule set this battle had.
Fire, Water, Earth and Life splinters were allowed for the battle and I chose Life Splinter with General Sloan as the summoner with my lineup of monsters why I used is as explained below:
Lineup:
1.Pelacor Conjurer:
As I had planned for a taunt monster in Iziar, I used this in the front as this can be so dangerous that, most of the time, it will evade the attack as there will be a limited attack on this with Iziar is set to take most of the attacks from opponent's monsters.
2. Adelade Brightwing:
It's always better to have a resurrect ability monster and Adelade Brightwing was used specifically to keep Iziar active in the battle longer and I think it served the purpose with a win for me.
3. Spirit Hoarder:
Well, the plan of taunt monster use means, we need One or 2 Backline monster healers and Spirit Hoarder and the next One Djinn Renova played that role for me with this monster even having blind ability, helped to evade few attacks from Iziar and Pelacor Conjurer.
4. Djinn Renova:
Like I said above, this and Spirit Hoarder had a role to keep re-energizing the giant Iziar to take all the attack and these guys did well to keep him active till end of the battle.
5. Iziar:
The wrecker in chief of this battle, NOT as a huge destroyed, but as a defender of other monsters, it played it's role quite nicely and when it did die and got resurrected, it increased the stats for Djinn Renova and Pelacor Arbalest to make my job even more easier.
6. Pelacor Arbalest:
This was the only ranged attack monster used and was vital in taking out a BIG giant like Mantorath with it's dual attack with 5 ranged attack.
So, the strategy for me was very simple, divert all the attack towards Iziar and keep it active in the battle for longer with healing it with the help of Spirit Hoarder and Djinn Renova and keep attacking the front monster from opponent.
All these monsters played nicely and taking on those giants like Mantorath, Venka The Vile and Daarg Deadblast along with other monsters was not an easy task, but the guys I used proved they could do that.
I hope you find this strategy useful against similar set of opponent's monsters and do write back if this could have been even better as you might have a better strategy.

Like I said, the strategy worked well to take on the huge monsters the opponent had used and happy to be on the winning side.
