Entry for the Reflection Hunters Contest ~Round 185

in #hive-179017yesterday

Hello friends, Hivians and all members of the Shadow Hunter's Community. I hope all is well, for me I'm getting by as I have been busy the last few days. Today I make an entry into the Reflection Hunters Contest Round 185 hosted by @olgavita.

It was this past Saturday I decided to go fishing by a nearby pond. It was a sunny day and the temperature was quite nice. In between my fishing activity I was able to capture a few reflection photos which I will share with all of you.

I like this one the most because everything that has mass is reflected perfectly in the water. The trees, camping shelters and even the cars in the parking lot made an appearance. It's pretty cool when everything gets in on the reflection 😃

It's always a joy to see waterfowl present while out at a body of water. These geese were quite a distance away but it was not a problem capturing them with my new phone. I can zoom in up to 30X with it compared to just 5X with my previous one. Though the elements didn't provide the best of reflections, it at least provided some.

Not all reflections are casted equally. Though these reflection are blurred the still give some color on top of the water's surface. I also witnessed some color for another reason. One of the trees has a fall season feel with its multi colored leaves. My favorite season of all, I hope it is a long fall this year 🍂 🥮 🍁

I wasn't trying to document the arrival and set up of two individuals fishing but it just appears that way. I only witnessed them catch two fish the two hours they sat there. Now did there blurred images in the water have anything to do with their lack of catching?

I had a much better experience then both of them as I caught around 20 fish. I was fishing around a few others that did a bit better than those two. One individual came up to me and asked what I was using. He even asked if he could take a picture of what I was using 😆 I thought that was pretty desperate and funny.

That was a first for me so I felt generous and gave him a few different colors of that jig I was using. I also gave him some free advice on what colors to use based on water clarity. He was grateful and I bet I will see him here again.

Well I hope you enjoyed these reflections. It was nice catching some fish along with some reflections. I guess I knocked out two birds with one stone this day.

Thats all I have for you this time. Take care, stay safe and enjoy the rest of the week. Until next time!

All photos were taken by me with my Samsung Galaxy S24+ smart phone.

Those a pretty reflection photos, my fav is the first and that with the two people. Anyways I'm sure the advice tou gave them will be applied on theor fishing activity, ehehe

Usually what I run into when I fish somewhere with numerous people. They want my luck, hehe. Now asking to take a picture of what I was using through me off a bit.

That's a nice and clear reflection ( the fist one).😁. The rest also add color to it😌.
They maybe wondering why they cannot catch as many fish as you did. That's they ask you what's your secret😁😬.

Thank you I wasnt hunting for reflections they were for me along with another fisherman, hehe. I must be doing something right as the guy was very senior to me.

Some great shots! Not all reflections are equal, but that first one is awesome!

Yup I agree and it's why it's the entry one. The fish were hitting fairly good for me so I didn't expend all that much time taking photos and moving all over to find action.

Nice cool reflections with very calm atmosphere. Those trees are changing colours, autumn is approaching soon.

Yes fall is coming soon here friend. I hope to visit again this weekend. I need some nature time again I need my mind to be distracted. Thanks for stopping by 😃

Lucky you! You have such a lovely place to lose yourself in distractions!

Just hoping it gives me what I'm seeking :-)

All the best!

You hunt some beautiful reflection pictures 👍

Thanks you, they presented themselves no hunting required this time smile

😄😄

Lovely reflections

Thanks

I think they are good photos and the first one has amazing reflection. Looks like a nice inviting body of water that is begging to be fished.

Thanks it is a place that I have spent the most time at this year. It's just produces some real good sized blue gills, some crappie and small/medium sized bass. I usually hit at least 20 caught fish every time. Hard not to go to a place that produces, haha.

Wow. That sounds amazing.

Each picture has its own meaning, but the first one is truly amazing

Thanks glad you appreciated them
