Splinters - The Power of Magic Reflect Monsters in Magic Only Battles

in #hive-14662014 days ago

Hi Splinterlands Players,

https://inleo.io/@splinterlands/splinterlands-social-media-challenge-skqc1b

It's a Saturday and I am writing about a battle with magic monsters used and I would like to show here the power of magic reflect ability monsters as part of a strategy to win battle in which only magic monsters are allowed.

The battle I am sharing here with link shared below is with magic reflect, reverse speed and amplify rulesets and other details I am sharing below.

Magic reflect is an ability which allows the magic monsters to reflect back with an attack on the monsters which attacks it and with amplify ruleset is also included in this battle, the reflection action will be even more effective.

For example, if there will be a 1 magic reflect attack in normal instance, it will be 2 with amplify on.

I am explaining about the battle with link shared above and a screenshot of the battle is also included to understand the rules and mana cost available and also about the monsters used.

As we see, there is mana cap of 45 for this battle and we have fire and death splinters monsters available for this battle.

The monsters I used for this battle are as below:

Monster 1: Prismatic Energy:

Since the ruleset of magic reflect and we have only magic monsters to be used, I felt this will be a good option to get some monsters removed from other player's lineup and also amplify ruleset means, monsters with less health will be easily removed.

Monster 2: Djinn Muirat:

This is Second monster with magic reflect ability and this and Magi Necrosi were instrumental in this win with 2 magic attack even though the other player's summoner reduced the attack by 1.

Monster 3: Usut:

Since I used a summoner which enables a bloodlust monster, I used this as there is a good mana cap for this battle and it had an opportunity to bloodlust once and increase it's attack and health and was a good option in this battle.

Monster 4: Magi Necrosi

Magi Necrosi is helpful because of it's snipe attack to attack monsters from second line and escaped getting magic reflected from other user's main monster of prismatic energy and it was well played to help remove few of the monsters from other side.

Monster 5: Venari Bonesmith:

Venari Bonesmith is with poison ability and it also have life leech ability to increase it's health if it decreases the main health of the monster it attacks. This also had just 1 magic attack, was vital in the win.

Monster 6: Venari Spellsmith

The last monster used by me was the Venari Spellsmith which is a monster which has dispel ability and that removes the positive effects a monster might have got from ability or from summoner buffs.

This also has a redemption ability which reduces the health of all the monsters on other side by 1 when this monster dies.

That was the lineup by me and this battle was fought with 3 rounds and I had 3 monsters when the battle ended and won it with Usut, Magi Necrosi and Venari Bonesmith staying alive till the end as in this screenshot.

As we see from this battle, few of the monsters from other side were removed due to getting magic reflect action and the first 2 monsters I used i.e. Prismatic Energy and Djinn Muirat were able to magic reflect and help me to win the battle.

Thanks and here I am ending this blog.
