Dender vs Cercle Brugge
Cercle brugge managed to turn the bad streak around and now are without a loss in their last 7 matches. They don't really belong in a playdown spot and I do expect them to keep doing ok and manage to avoid it. The actual form they showed on the pitch is ok but also not spectacular. Most of their results lately are also low-scoring and they are at the bottom over overall xg in the last 3 matches at 2.39 while Dender is 2nd last in the last 3 matches at 2.43 while overall they are 2d lowest with 2.60. Dender is a team who mainly focus on the defense and the counters. They have done well and showed that they could be capable to avoid the playdowns now with 5 points clear of Westerlo while they are by no means safe. I would not be surprised if at some point they got in a bad streak and started falling back. I do See Cercle as the team who over the season should most time end above Dender and they are on their way up so I was willing to bet just 0.1 unit on
Cercle Brugge +0 @ 2.099. They still are down against the asian handicap bad in away matches but I mostly see it as the result of the first half of the season. Given that both are so low in xg lately with Dender who are known for their good defense, I also took 0.1 unit on

Kv Mechelen vs Racing Genk
The reverse fixture between these teams ended in a 2-1 win for genk with a 1.8-1.29xg and 6-6 in corners. Many of the previous encounters before that also ended in matches that had 3+ goals. This while Genk is the highest overall xg team in the league at 3.470 and 3.94 even in the last 3 games. Mechelen overall is at 3.06 overall and 2.82 overall while they always have been a team who were overish at home but underish away. This trend however has stabilized lately and they are only barely up against the over line at home anymore. Genk so far has been an away over team and home under team against the asian handicap. Both also don't tend to wait and go for it from the start with a 10W-3L rate on an 1H Over 1 line. So I kind of like the Over but at the same time want to get some kind of confirmation. I already took 0.1 unit on
Over 3.5 @ 2.869 which feels worth the risk and 0.1 unit on the
Over 2.75 @ 1.913 line. Genk has shown to be beatable on the road so I do expect Mechelen to go for it even though they got in a bad streak themselves lately. I do expect a Genk win in the end.
Club Brugge vs Beerschot
Club Brugge now is unbeaten in 17 matches in a row after they won their mid-week cup match with a 2-1 score against Genk. The main critique that can be given is that they could win more of their matches with a wider margin if they actually pushed which they rarely to never do. They have quality in their team and a high finishing rate. This also shows in their stats against the asian handicap which are about break-even indicating that they are valued properly. Beerschot has improved but they are still dead last with 13 points which is 5 lower than Kortrijk. Their drive and motivation in the team is still good however which helped them to take some points but overall their quality of play at times simply isn't sharp enough. They have a really bad home pitch which clearly helped them against better playing teams which makes them a team that is 5.5W-3L at home against the hanicap but 2W-7.5L away against the asian handicap. So far they played twice away against a top team which ended in a 2-1 loss against Anderlecht (after getting 0-1 ahead) and a 4-0 loss against Antwerp in week 9. On both they also lost the corners with 5+. So the main question here for me is how much Club Brugge will rotate and how much they will actually push for a big lead. The opening line at 2.25 was a bit too extreme for me while at the same time I was not willing to back Beerschot. By now it went to -2 / -1.75 which feels more acceptable. I took just 0.15 units on
Club Brugge -1.75 @ 1.813 with the hope to possibly get better odds in-game. I do expect that there might be some rotation with the upcoming Champions League match against Juventus on Tuesday.
