Not the best Saturday mainly because coinflips didn't go my way so nothing fundamental. It is quite frustrating though as I got closer to being at a profit again on the season which now has been delayed a bit. Maybe if Sunday is a great day I might be able to still reach it this week.
Anderlecht VS Antwerp
These teams played in the cup where the match ended in a 2-2 score. Antwerp go a red card in the 1st half but managed to still turn the 1-1 to a 2-1 which would have given extra time if it wasn't for a last second goal from Anderlecht. Today the match is played in Anderlecht who will be able to rotate a bit while Antwero is pretty much locked with the same 11 as they generally have a weaker bench. Antwerp sure is going to want to take revenge but at the same time a draw would not be bad as they are 1 point ahead in the standings. For me, these are both teams that can have a good day or a bad day and the outcome will most likely depend on this which is a factor hard to predict. For now, I'm staying away.

Kortrijk vs Union
Union is on a roll again and are 13 matches without a loss and a win in their last 5. Most of the wins however tend to come with just a 1-goal difference and similar to the previous years, their handicaps have gotten quite big. They also have an upcoming match one the Europa League against Ajax so their minds might already be on that. They are also missing David who has been a hot striker while Castro-montes and Boufal are injured. Kortrijk is still struggling in the bottom of the standings and they have been with 6 losses and 2 draws in their last 8 matches. One of those draws however came 2 weeks aga away against Club Brugge where they played an ok match. Today they are without their best player Kadri while Fujii is injured and Lagae is also suspended. Union should win this one but the handicap for me at the moment is just not worth the risk so I'm waiting for possible in-game bets.

Westerlo vs Standard
Standard remains a team who have mastered defending and are currently just 2 points away from a playoff 1 spot with a -6 goal saldo as they have a very hard time scoring themselves. I don't expect them to change anything about their gameplan yet and just go to Westerlo to build a wall hoping to get one on the counter. Westerlo took a much-needed win last week away against Kortrijk but they are still in the danger zone 2 points below Mechelen. They have been a team who are capable of scoring goals but at the same time they did get many against and today they are without their 2 central defenders Bayram & Vuskovic who combined scored 7 goals already this season and 1 assist. I do expect Westerlo to have the ball and make the play but at the start likely they won't take too many risk as they will fear the Standard counters. Despite Standard being 15W-6.5L-2.5P on the under, they have had a rather high xg lately at 3.06 combined in their last 4 matches. However, I much more go by their play style which leans more to low scoring matches. I took 0.25 units on
1H Under 1.25 @ 1.821 and also 0.25 units on
1H Under 1 @ 2.303 with an eye to at least put part of the exposure safe in case there is no early goal. I do expect Westerlo to have the ball and Standard in multiple matches have gotten crushed on the corners even though they won their matchup away against Cercle last week. It scares me a bit though so I'm going in with a lean on Westerlo on the corners and will see if I will take it. If Standard would take the lead I would be more willing to take a bigger handicap. Standard had been getting big lines but they systematically have been covering them so the +0.75 today is rather similar and I was willing to take a small 0.2 unit gamble on

Beerschot vs Charleroi
Beerschot is deal last and the board pretty much threw the towel selling their best player Verlinden as they were not going to be able to get as much once they relegate. They have a new pitch which also works in their disadvantage as they were better off in matches giving the opponent a really bad pitch. Their coach however still seems to be able to bring the firs to his team and they tend to start quite motivated and forward which worked against Antwerp as they quickly came 1-0 ahead. I expect a similar approach today where they try to out-work Charleroi at the start but eventually fall short. Charleroi has been in a better flow and they are now kind of in the hunt for a playoff 1 spot which will require a win today. Beerschot also can't be satisfied with a draw as they are 6 points behind on Kortrijk and need 3 points if they want to keep some hope alive. Charleroi usually starts matches with the intention to score but once they are ahead this falls flat and they crawl back. So for this match I'm expecting a very motivated and high intensity forward start from Beerschot and Charleroi to go along with this. This made me take 0.3 units on
1st Half Over 1 @ 1.891 with the option to add a bit more in-game. I do expect that eventually Charleroi will be better but I also believe it might be possible to get better odds if Beerschot indeed starts with high energy and motivation. So there I'm waiting hopefully for better odds as I do see Charleroi as the way better team over 90 minutes. The over also kind is an option but my fear is that Charleroi takes the lead and locks things down.
