This is Selworthy village with very old preserved houses .A little narrow road runs through the village leading to a car park and tea rooms. There is then a path you can walk down to the shingle beach or into the woods it is a very popular area and today unfortunalty unable to park.It is good to see the tall house chimneys and the cobbled pavement. On a little further is the village of Allerford this boasts a historical and medieval pack horse bridge which dates back to the 15 century. It has two arches and a cobbled footway. Also in the village are some other very intersting old buildings and the Blacksmiths there lovely to see working in the day .
