Online DPI Converter Recommendation and Quick Nature Ai Art Drop

If anyone is in need of a reliable DPI converter (enhancer) try out convert-dpi.com

I have been using them for a week or two now and so far so good. No watermark. Files quality hasn't lowered. They have a built in file converter as well, so if you need to convert png to jpg, jpg to BMP, etc. they have that option. You can drag and drop 50 files at a time and download a zip file once they are done converted. This is a good time saver if you need to convert folder or two of images at once.

Stay away from the "resample" option unless you know you need it.

Here are a few art drops as well. I was not sure if I had to post actual art in this community or if I could just talk about art. So, just in case... here is some Midjourney artwork I created for a series I am working on. The working title is Geometric Forests, but that seems too on the nose. I think I used Midjourney version 4 for these.

Interesting, so you can increase DPI on a low DPI file? Talking about art or tips for artists is totally fine but it's always nice to have some eye candy in the post 😉

Yes you can increase DPI/PPI. Usually the option is found under a Scaling, or Scale Image option of an image editing program, if you are just lo0king to edit one or two images at a time. If you use the "resample" or "resample the image" option it can mess up your image, so I'd stay away from it unless you know you need it. Stick to increasing the DPI/PPI of an image without resampling and you should get better prints. DPI wont matter with monitor viewing so if you arent printing, selling images to be printed, or having something printed, it usually wont matter. One of the printers I work with actually does it for you, so with them I can skip a step.

"DPI converter has the option to "resample the image", when this option is set, your image will change in size according to the DPI specified in it.
For example, you had an image of 300DPI and 46 inches (12001800 pixels).
If you set it to 72DPI, the image size in centimeters will not change, but the size will change in pixels (it will be 288 * 432 pixels)."
