Finally the long-awaited day has arrived and for those sports lovers, the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris has taken place. With the advancement of technology, the next event location always seeks to surpass any superior edition and this time in Paris it dared to use and abuse the technological innovations that were present throughout the opening.

It is true that some football matches have already taken place, mainly for women's countries, but this Friday, the official start of the games took place. I'm always excited when the year of the Olympics arrives, because like any sports lover, I like to support my country and, of course, other countries that are incredible with their sports, such as basketball in the United States and Rafael Nadal with tennis.
Breaking Traditional
One of the new things that happened was the way the event took place, as it was the first time in the history of modern games that the host country opened the ceremony outside a stadium. For those who are already quite familiar with the games, it was always started in a stadium and this time it took place on the River Seine which is where the river crosses the city of Paris.

Instead of the athletes walking and parading with their flags in the traditional way, they crossed in boats. To be exact in numbers, 6,800 athletes, 205 delegations and 85 boats participated in the ceremony. In some cases it was possible to see three different delegations on just one boat. Countries like Canada and Brazil, where there are several athletes, were able to accommodate an entire boat.
The City of Light
To brighten up the night in Paris even more, a light show was possible to see on the Eiffel Tower. The event really was quite incredible and exciting.

It will be really fun and interesting to be able to follow the Olympics as much as I can so that I can bring as much content to INLEO. It will be a very challenging task for me, but I know that with dedication and consistency I will be able to do it.
I'm looking forward to being able to follow more handball, gymnastics, skateboarding, football, basketball and many other sports. This is the biggest sporting event on the planet and it will be great to be able to enjoy another Olympics.

Finalmente o dia tão esperado chegou e para aqueles amantes de esportes, a cerimônia de abertura das Olimpíadas em Paris aconteceu. Com o avanço da tecnologia, sempre o próximo local do evento busca superar qualquer edição superior e dessa vez em Paris ousou em usar e abusar das inovações tecnológicas que esteve presente durante toda a abertura.
Antes de prosseguir com meu artigo, faço um convite para você que aprecia os jogos das Olimpíadas e que caso goste, venha participar do meu threadcast esportivo que está na INLEO todos os dias e aproveitando as diversas modalidades que estarão presentes, teremos bastante assunto para compartilhar e conversar.
É verdade de que algumas partidas do futebol já aconteceram, principalmente para os países do feminino, mas nessa sexta, aconteceu de forma oficial o início dos jogos. Sempre fico empolgado quando chega o ano de Olimpíadas, pois como qualquer amante de esportes, gosto de prestigiar meu país e claro, outros países que são incríveis com suas modalidades como é o caso do basquete dos Estados Unidos e Rafael Nadal com o tênis.
Quebra do Tradicional
Uma das coisas que aconteceu de novidade foi a forma que aconteceu o evento, pois foi a primeira vez na história dos jogos modernos que o país sede abriu a cerimônia fora de um estádio. Para aqueles que já estão bastante familiarizados com os jogos, é que sempre era iniciado em um estádio e dessa vez aconteceu no Rio Sena que é onde o rio cruza a cidade de Paris.
Ao invés dos atletas caminharem e desfilarem com suas bandeiras de forma tradicional, eles atravessaram dentro de barcos. Para ser exato nos números, 6,800 atletas, 205 delegações e 85 barcos participaram da cerimônia. Em alguns casos era possível ver em apenas um barco, três delegações diferentes. Países como Canadá e Brasil que existem diversos atletas, foram capazes de acomodar um barco inteiro.
A Cidade Luz
Para abrilhantar ainda mais a noite em Paris, um show de luzes foi possível ver na Torre Eiffel. Realmente o evento foi bastante incrível e emocionante.
Será bem divertido e interessante poder acompanhar o máximo que eu puder as Olimpíadas para que eu possa trazer o máximo de conteúdo para o INLEO. Será uma tarefa bem desafiadora para mim, mas sei que com dedicação e consistência conseguirei fazer.
Estou ansioso para poder acompanhar mais o handebol, a ginastica, o skate, o futebol, basquete e muitos outros esportes. Esse é o maior evento esportivo do planeta e será muito legal poder apreciar mais uma Olimpíadas.
