Take A Deep Breath and Let's Breathe Salty Air

If I could live somewhere else aside from the place I am living right now, I would choose to live near the beach where I could smell the salty scent of the air. It's a dream I have since a child.

That's why when I got the chance to visit my boyfriend's hometown in Colassi, Mercedes, Camarines Norte, I was baffled! I didn't want to go back to the city! I literally wanted to live there.

His home is a fifteen minute walk to the most untainted beach, I have ever seen. It's raw and beautiful.

But instead of sand you get pebbles. If you are barefooted don't try to walk on them, coz I have done it and it's not a nice experience.

The beach is also over looking from a small hill that has resting place at the top and the small hill itself us gorgeous. Sadly I didn't get to take pictures but it was filled with herbal plants.

Their town is a fishing village. That's why you can just wake up in the morning and meet the fishermen on the shore and you can have your fresh seafood just out of the sea. And it taste a lot better than those we buy in our local market. Though they are the same fishes.

There's also this big Talisay tree by the shore. That is older than most of their town's people. My boyfriend said it has been there since he's young. He said it was planted by a traveller and wishes could come true if you wish on it during a full moon. I don't know if the last part is true maybe he's making fun of me again.

But I don't care the tree looks magical. Everything about their beach looks magical.

One day I swear I would live in their town and build a sustainable house.

Thank you for stopping by. Peace out! ✌️

AHH~ just looking at your photos just made me relaxed! By the way, the story of the Talisay tree is interesting ha. Hope that your BF is telling the truth haha!

I doubt it 🤣🤣🤣

Nice shots, I always love to do sunset ocean photography on beaches with pebbles rather than those with sand because the texture and colors as well as the way the sunlight plays with the pebbles are much more robust. Thanks a lot for sharing this location, it definitely is magical. And yesss there is something about freshly caught fish rather than the market variety that is just much "sweeter" in my opinion! Enjoy your shrimp!

Ganda magswimming jan hehe
