Hoy me siento muy feliz y agradecida que pude contar con mi famila completa, y aunque faltó mi mamá y mi esposo por estar trabajando, aún así hicimos el momento bien alegre y de anécdotas familiares.
Today I feel very happy and grateful that I could count on my entire family, and although my mother and husband were missing because they were working, we still made the moment very joyful and full of family anecdotes.
Y así, empezamos con la tradición de las hallacas que es el plato navideño más consumido en nuestro país Venezuela, y como eso lleva bastante proceso, aprovechamos de que cada uno fuera cortando los vegetales y así poder avanzar en este gran trabajo grupalmente en unión y amor.
And so, we began with the tradition of hallacas, which is the most consumed Christmas dish in our country, Venezuela, and since that takes quite a bit of process, we took advantage of the fact that each one was cutting the vegetables and thus we were able to advance in this great group work in unity and love.
Cortando todo para mañana empezar con el armado de las hallacas, que hasta el momento en lo personal siento que es la tradición que más nos acerca como familia.
Cutting everything up so we can start making the hallacas tomorrow, which I personally feel is the tradition that brings us closer together as a family.
