If you have ever attempted to mine bitcoin you know that it takes a bunch of electricity to make that miner go. But in this animation, the grandkids have figured out a way to cut down on the electric cost by having Grandma provide the power and using her teeth as bait.
This is actually a new version of this piece that I made a while back. The older one had a an old man on the treadmill, and this time grandma gets a crack at it.
I started out with a blank toon kitchen set, I added the bitcoin miner cables
I added the kids and posed them the way I thought the scene would go.
Then I added the laptop and grandma to the scene.
I wanted this to be a special HIVE edition so I added the HIVE logo to the computer, in fact for now on when I do an NFT for HIVE I will add either the logo or the HIVE name somewhere inside of the piece, just a little something that I thought would be cool.
Finally I added the rest of the scene and made the animation. I went through a phase where I did a lot of AI generated stuff, it was fun and I learned a lot, but it really feels good to get back into my normal old fashioned 3D routine!
