The venue was in the Gymnasium located in Barangay Calangahan, the Barangay Officials offered the place as a venue and after that, the programs has been finalized including the decorations. The organizers decided of not to held a big christmas party instead they did it in a simple ways. First, they put a simple decorations at the front of the Barangay hall. A long white curtain, colorful balloons and a big tarpaulin. It takes almost an hour of decorating at the place.
There are also long tables at the place and each table contains different kinds of Christmas items to be given to all residents who attended the Christmas party. Gladly all of the residents joined the year end activities. This table is filled with lots of gifts for kids and adults. Exchanging gift activities is already a tradtions for us here every Christmas season. Some of the tables were lots of different kinds of items placed like Dipper, blankets, towels, pails and boxes of snacks. As for me, this will be very exciting if the program will start and all of them can recieved the gifts. The organizers was very busy assisting and arranging those gifts.
While waiting for others to come, some of the organizers was very busy writing the names of the Purok members and after that they put in a big box for a raffle games. The place is very big and wide and aside of that it can be avoided of getting wet even if there is a heavy rains. Others are very busy putting the chairs at the middle and operating the sound systems. The residents was keep arriving at the venue bringing their children and their Gifts. Children are having a lot of fun and enjoyable time by running around the place.
Some small children loves to play ball. They're trying to shoot the ball onside of the baskets. Children are very enjoyed playing inside of the gymnasium bringing their ball. After a few minutes, lots of visitors came and after a few minutes the Christmas party was officially started.
I felt like a little shy inside of the Gymnasium and also felt bored inside of the place. I keep myself very confident and enjoyable. As for that, to get rid my boredom moments I decided to explored thier chapel. The structure is made of metal grills and metal doors.Aside of that, lots of statues of Saints can be seen.
I also enjoyed watching the children playing at the gymnasium, their are lots of little children running around the place, playing balls and other riding their small bikes. The Visitors are still continouing to arrived together with their Families and friends. After a few minutes of waiting, finally they started the program.
Before they started the program we do prayers and everyone was standing and very serious. After that, different parlor games for children and adults helded with a great prizes for those who will win the games. There are lot of prizes to be given to all who participated the contest. A raffle activities and each lucky members can recieve cash. Aside of the contest and games, distributing of gifts and giveaways to all Purok Members.
It was very enjoyable moments I had during the event and those activities will truly can't easy to forget. Thank you for stopping everyone, have a nice day.
