One reason why the CTPSB token has a better return than a normal Hive account is because it also generates author rewards thanks to the weekly posts that we are writing.
No posts rewards generated this week
Last week, for personal matters, I wasn't able to make a @ctpsb post during the week-end. There was a post published last Monday only. The consequence of this is that during the past week, there was no post payout for the project. These author rewards still represents an important income source for the project and when there are no such rewards, the APR gets a hit.
Reserves for such situations
To compensate that, I dissolved about 6 hive from our reserves to keep the APR on the same level than before. The more the project grows, the less it should become dependent on these post rewards. It's already much better than in the past when almost two posts per week were necessary to keep the APR on a reasonable level. Nowadays, I try to keep the APR between 15.5 and 18% and when the APR is above that, I tend to build up some reserves that I can then use on weeks like this where APR would drop below 15.5%. By using these reserves, I can keep the same level than the previous weeks.
Thanks to that, I have a certain flexibility and according to my availabilities, it doesn't really matter when I make a post for @ctpsb.
