I just finished watching the series about the Phantom Troops otherwise known as the Spiders. They are a gang of bandits who were responsible for the massacre of the Kurta clan to which Kurapika belongs. He is the sole survivor so he is seeking revenge to give justice to his brethren.
What I noticed as I watched each series was that the story usually starts with a light, funny, and adventurous introduction. And then the story will develop into an exciting, thrilling, and a lot of action towards the end.
Somehow, I find this kind of sequence suits my preference.
I think that this is a good way of getting the audience engaged with the story and the show as well. This is the formula that will make me binge-watch an entire season, lol.

Once again, Gon & Killua have set foot for another adventure. Also, they made a promise to both Kurapika and Leorio for them to meet at York New City for a reunion and also to attend the upcoming auction.
Each one of them has a goal to achieve in this new adventure. Gon & Killua are there to bid for the Greed Island, which is a game that Gon’s father has co-created.
Kurapika on the other hand is planning to hunt the collectors of the “scarlet eyes” that will be auctioned at the same event. These are the eyes of the Kurta clan so he wanted to acquire them and avenge them as well.
While Leorio is simply there to reunite with his friends Gon, Killua, & Kurapika.
To be very frank, I like how adventurous Gon & Killua are. I think that both of them are good friends because they share the same interest and their personalities also complement each other. Gon is a free-spirited person while Killua is the one who is careful and calculative about their moves. They have an amazing duo whenever they aim to achieve a goal.
I think the best part about this series is the progression of the character Kurapika. In this series, his story starts as a Hunter who is seeking vengeance for his brethren. However, because of his friends, he found that vengeance would not give him the justice that his brethren deserved. Instead, he focuses on making sure that he can save his friends instead of taking vengeance for his dead brethren.
In this series, there were clever details in the story whereby they were chasing the phantom troops. This anime is entertaining to watch and it also encourages the viewers to think through what's happening in the story.
